London: Ibrahim Faheed has been left reeling after thieves targeted his mobile phone shop in Derby

پولیس نے عوام سے اپیل کی ہے کہ اگر کسی کے پاس اس واقعے سے متعلق کوئی معلومات ہو تو وہ آگے آئیں۔ تاحال کوئی گرفتاری عمل میں نہیں آئی۔

واقعے کے بعد علاقے کے دیگر دکاندار بھی تشویش میں مبتلا ہو گئے ہیں اور انہوں نے پولیس سے رات کے وقت سیکیورٹی گشت بڑھانے کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔ کئی تاجروں نے اپنے سیکیورٹی نظام کو اپ گریڈ کرنا بھی شروع کر دیا ہے۔

ایک قریبی دکاندار نے کہا، “یہ ایک آنکھیں کھولنے والا واقعہ ہے۔ ہمیں مزید تحفظ اور تعاون کی ضرورت ہے۔”

According to Faheed, the perpetrators gained forced entry into the premises by breaking through the front security shutters and smashing a glass door.

“They took everything they could grab in a matter of minutes,” Faheed said. “We had smartphones, accessories, and some customer devices that were left for repair – all gone.”

Surveillance footage is currently being reviewed by local police, who have launched an investigation into the incident. The footage reportedly shows at least two individuals, dressed in dark clothing and wearing masks, ransacking the shop shortly after midnight. Authorities believe the crime was a targeted and planned operation.

“This is not just a financial hit,” Faheed explained. “It’s also emotionally exhausting. As a small business owner, I’ve poured my time, money, and energy into building this shop. To see it violated like this is heartbreaking.”

The incident has sparked concern among other local business owners, who are now calling for increased police patrols in the area, especially during late hours. Some have also begun upgrading their own security systems in response.

“This is a wake-up call,” one neighboring shopkeeper said. “We need more support and better protection.”

Meanwhile, Faheed is working with his insurance company to assess the damage and begin the process of restocking and reopening the store. Despite the setback, he says he is determined to keep his business running.
