Gujar Khan: Dangerous Criminals Open Fire on CCD Team in Sohawa; Kamran Shoukat Injured and Later Dies in Custody

گوجرخان : پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام | 11جولائی 2025–سوہاوہ کے نواحی علاقے ٹنڈوئی پل کے قریب سی سی ڈی ٹیم اور خطرناک اشتہاری ملزمان کے درمیان فائرنگ کا تبادلہ ہوا، جس کے دوران کامران شوکت نامی ملزم زخمی حالت میں گرفتار ہوا، جو بعد ازاں زخموں کی تاب نہ لاتے ہوئے دم توڑ گیا۔

ذرائع کے مطابق کاؤنٹر کرائم ڈیپارٹمنٹ (CCD) کی ٹیم خفیہ اطلاع پر کارروائی کر رہی تھی، جب اچانک ملزمان نے ان پر شدید فائرنگ کر دی۔ سی سی ڈی ٹیم نے جوابی کارروائی کرتے ہوئے ملزم کو زخمی حالت میں گرفتار کر لیا۔

کامران شوکت کو فوری طور پر ٹی ایچ کیو اسپتال سوہاوہ منتقل کیا گیا، تاہم وہ جانبر نہ ہو سکا۔ پولیس کے مطابق کامران شوکت اغواء، ڈکیتی اور قتل جیسے سنگین جرائم میں مطلوب تھا اور اس کے خلاف کئی مقدمات درج تھے۔

فائرنگ کے دوران سی سی ڈی ٹیم کے اہلکار محفوظ رہے، جبکہ دیگر مفرور ملزمان کی تلاش کے لیے علاقے میں سرچ آپریشن جاری ہے۔ پولیس نے عوام سے بھی تعاون کی اپیل کی ہے تاکہ علاقے کو جرائم سے پاک کیا جا سکے۔

Gujar Khan: Pothwar.com | July 11, 2025- A deadly exchange of gunfire took place between law enforcement officials and dangerous criminals in a remote area near Tandoi Pul in Sohawa, leading to the arrest of a notorious suspect, Kamran Shoukat, who later succumbed to his injuries.

According to official sources, the Counter Crime Department (CCD) was conducting a targeted operation in the outskirts of Sohawa when their team came under heavy fire from wanted criminals. The team retaliated swiftly, resulting in a fierce gunfight.

During the exchange, Kamran Shoukat — a key suspect wanted in multiple cases of kidnapping, armed robbery, and murder — was critically injured and taken into custody. He was immediately shifted to THQ Hospital Sohawa, but despite medical efforts, he could not survive.

Authorities confirmed that Kamran Shoukat was a proclaimed offender with a long criminal record. His presence in the area had been under surveillance, and the operation was a result of weeks of intelligence gathering.

The CCD team remained unharmed in the incident. A search operation is underway to locate other suspects who fled the scene. Law enforcement officials have vowed to bring all accomplices to justice and restore peace in the region.
