Gujar Khan: Double Honor Killing in Jatli: Man Kills Wife and Her Alleged Lover

گوجرخان (پوٹوہار ڈاٹ کام، 29 جون 2025): جاتلی پولیس تھانہ کی حدود میں واقع دولتالہ قصبہ ایک لرزہ خیز دوہرے قتل کی واردات سے ہل کر رہ گیا، جہاں غیرت کے نام پر ایک شخص نے اپنی بیوی اور اس کے مبینہ آشنا کو قتل کر دیا۔ قاتل کی شناخت اسامہ کے نام سے ہوئی ہے، جو مقتولین کے ساتھ پشاور کا رہائشی بتایا جا رہا ہے۔

پولیس کی ابتدائی رپورٹ کے مطابق، اسامہ نے پہلے اپنی بیوی، جس کی شناخت ت.ب کے نام سے ہوئی، کو 25 جون کی رات قتل کیا۔ اس کے بعد اس نے بیوی کی لاش دولتالہ ویٹرنری ہسپتال سے منسلک ایک عمارت کی چھت پر پھینک دی۔ دو روز بعد، 27 جون کی رات اس نے مبینہ آشنا، لیاقت، کو بھی گولی مار کر قتل کر دیا اور اس کی لاش کو خفیہ طور پر قریبی قبرستان میں دفن کر دیا۔

پولیس کو جب ان پرُاسرار اموات اور لاپتہ افراد کی اطلاع ملی تو تفتیش شروع کی گئی۔ جائے وقوعہ پر پہنچ کر پولیس نے خاتون کی لاش چھت سے برآمد کی، جبکہ لیاقت کی تدفین شدہ لاش بھی قبرستان سے نکال لی گئی۔ دونوں لاشوں کو پوسٹ مارٹم کے لیے اسپتال منتقل کر دیا گیا ہے۔

اے ایس پی دانیال اور ایس پی صدر محمد نبیل کھوکھر کی قیادت میں پولیس کی بھاری نفری جائے وقوعہ پر پہنچ گئی، جہاں شواہد اکٹھے کیے جا رہے ہیں اور تحقیقات کا آغاز کر دیا گیا ہے۔ کیس سے متعلق ایک شخص کو تحویل میں لیا گیا ہے جبکہ مزید تفتیش جاری ہے۔

سٹی پولیس آفیسر (CPO) سید خالد حمدانی نے اس افسوسناک واقعے کا نوٹس لیتے ہوئے ایس پی صدر سے تفصیلی رپورٹ طلب کر لی ہے۔ انہوں نے یقین دہانی کرائی ہے کہ کیس کی تفتیش مکمل طور پر میرٹ پر کی جائے گی اور قاتل کو قانون کے مطابق سخت سزا دی جائے گی۔

ابتدائی تحقیقات کے مطابق، اسامہ نے دونوں قتل فائرنگ کر کے کیے اور دعویٰ کیا کہ اس کا مقصد غیرت کا تحفظ تھا۔ تفتیشی حکام کا ماننا ہے کہ اسامہ نے اکیلے ہی یہ واردات انجام دی، اور فی الحال کسی دوسرے فرد کی معاونت کا کوئی ثبوت سامنے نہیں آیا۔

قتل کے بعد ملزم موقع سے فرار ہو گیا اور تاحال مفرور ہے۔ پولیس نے اس کی گرفتاری کے لیے سرچ آپریشن شروع کر دیا ہے۔ پولیس حکام نے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا ہے کہ اس ہولناک واقعے میں انصاف ہر صورت ممکن بنایا جائے گا، جو ایک بار پھر غیرت کے نام پر ہونے والے جرائم کے سنگین مسئلے کو اجاگر کرتا ہے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, June 29, 2025):  A chilling case of double murder in the name of “honor” has shaken the town of Daultala in the Jatli police jurisdiction of Gujar Khan. A man, identified as Usama, allegedly killed his wife and her suspected lover in two separate incidents, disposing of their bodies in horrific fashion.

According to initial police reports, Usama, who hails from Peshawar along with the victims, first murdered his wife, identified as T.B., on the night of June 25. He then reportedly threw her body onto the roof of the building attached to the Veterinary Hospital in Daultala. Two nights later, on June 27, he allegedly shot and killed Liaqat, the man he suspected of having an affair with his wife. Liaqat’s body was secretly buried in a nearby graveyard by the suspect.

The grim details came to light after police received information about the suspicious deaths and disappearance. Upon investigation, officers recovered the woman’s body from the rooftop and traced Liaqat’s buried body to the local cemetery. Both bodies have been shifted to a hospital for postmortem examinations.

A significant police presence, led by ASP Danial and SP Saddar Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar, arrived at both crime scenes to oversee evidence collection and initiate a thorough investigation. One individual has been taken into custody in connection with the case, and further interrogations are underway.

City Police Officer (CPO) Syed Khalid Hamdani took immediate notice of the shocking crime, directing SP Saddar to submit a detailed report. He assured that the investigation would proceed strictly on merit and that the culprit would face full legal consequences.

According to preliminary findings, Usama committed both murders with a firearm, claiming the motive was “honor.” Investigators believe he acted alone, with no immediate evidence suggesting assistance from others. The police are continuing forensic analysis and witness interviews.

The accused managed to flee the scene following the murders and is currently at large. A manhunt has been launched to apprehend him as soon as possible. Authorities have vowed to ensure justice is served in this harrowing case that highlights the ongoing issue of so-called “honor” crimes in the region.
