Rawat: Deadly Encounter in Rawat: Notorious Criminal Killed, Policeman Injured in Shootout with Police Team

تھانہ روات کے علاقے میں پولیس کی ایک اہم کارروائی اس وقت پرتشدد شکل اختیار کر گئی جب خطرناک ملزم کی گرفتاری کے لیے جانے والی پولیس ٹیم پر ملزمان نے اندھا دھند فائرنگ کر دی۔ فائرنگ کے تبادلے میں پولیس کانسٹیبل محمد علی شدید زخمی ہوگئے، جبکہ انتہائی مطلوب خطرناک ملزم قیصر عرف فیصل ہلاک ہو گیا۔

پولیس ذرائع کے مطابق، قیصر عرف فیصل قتل، ڈکیتی، منشیات اور بھتہ خوری سمیت متعدد سنگین مقدمات میں مطلوب تھا۔ پولیس ٹیم جب اس کے ٹھکانے پر پہنچی تو ملزم اور اس کے ساتھیوں نے فائرنگ شروع کر دی، جس سے علاقہ میدان جنگ بن گیا۔

فائرنگ کے دوران کانسٹیبل محمد علی شدید زخمی ہو گئے جنہیں فوری طور پر قریبی اسپتال منتقل کر دیا گیا، جہاں ان کا علاج جاری ہے۔ سی پی او راولپنڈی سید خالد ہمدانی نے زخمی کانسٹیبل کو بہترین طبی سہولیات فراہم کرنے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔

ملزم قیصر عرف فیصل، جو متعدد مجرمانہ ریکارڈ کا حامل تھا، مقابلے میں مارا گیا۔ پولیس کے مطابق وہ حالیہ دنوں میں بھی پولیس پر حملے کے مقدمہ میں مطلوب تھا اور ایک عورت سمیت تین افراد کی برہنہ ویڈیوز بنا کر ان سے بھتہ وصولی کا ملزم بھی تھا۔

واقعہ کی اطلاع ملتے ہی اعلیٰ پولیس افسران موقع پر پہنچ گئے اور علاقہ میں سرچ آپریشن شروع کر دیا گیا تاکہ فائرنگ کے دوران فرار ہونے والے دیگر ملزمان کو گرفتار کیا جا سکے۔

سی پی او خالد ہمدانی نے اپنے بیان میں کہا کہ پولیس اور شہریوں پر حملہ کرنے والے عناصر قانون کی گرفت سے نہیں بچ سکتے۔ پولیس عوام کی جان و مال کے تحفظ کے لیے ہر ممکن اقدامات کر رہی ہے اور مجرموں کا قلع قمع کیا جائے گا۔

Rawat (Pothwar.com, Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi – June 23, 2025): A high-stakes police operation in the Rawat area turned violent when suspects opened fire on a police team attempting to arrest a notorious and dangerous criminal. During the encounter, one police constable sustained serious injuries while the prime suspect was killed in the exchange of fire.

According to police sources, the team had launched an operation to apprehend Qaiser alias Faisal, a wanted criminal involved in multiple serious cases, including murder, armed robbery, narcotics, and extortion. As the police team approached the suspect’s hideout, they came under heavy gunfire from the accused and his accomplices.

Constable Muhammad Ali was critically injured in the exchange and was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where he is receiving treatment. CPO Rawalpindi Syed Khalid Hamdani has directed that the constable be provided with the best possible medical care.

The main suspect, Qaiser alias Faisal, was killed in the encounter. He was a recorded offender with multiple criminal cases registered against him. Police officials revealed that he had recently fired on law enforcement officers, and was also wanted for making and circulating explicit videos of a woman and two other individuals for the purpose of blackmail and extortion.

Following the incident, senior police officers rushed to the scene, and a combing and search operation was launched in the surrounding areas to apprehend the remaining suspects who managed to flee during the encounter.

CPO Khalid Hamdani, while speaking on the matter, emphasised that those who attack police or harm innocent citizens will face the full force of the law and will not escape justice. He reaffirmed the police department’s commitment to ensuring public safety and eliminating criminal elements from the region.
