London: World War 2 Army Veteran, Sergeant Mohammed Hussain, Passes Away in Slough

سارجنٹ حسین برطانوی فوج کے ریٹائرڈ ویران تھے جو اپنی پرعزم فوجی خدمات اور مقامی کمیونٹی کے لیے بے لوث محنت کے لیے جانے جاتے تھے۔ انہوں نے برطانوی مسلح افواج میں دو دہائیوں سے زائد عرصہ خدمات انجام دیں، جن میں متعدد بین الاقوامی آپریشنز میں بھی حصہ لیا۔ ان کی خدمت کا جذبہ نسل در نسل احترام اور عقیدت کا باعث رہا۔

خاندانی ذرائع نے جمعہ دیر شام ان کے انتقال کی تصدیق کی۔ موت کی وجہ فطری قرار دی گئی ہے۔ دوستوں اور اہل خانہ نے انہیں “طاقت، عاجزی، اور ہمدردی کا ستون” قرار دیا۔

“وہ محض ایک فوجی نہیں تھے، بلکہ ایک رہنما، کمیونٹی کے رہبر اور بہت سے لوگوں کے لیے باپ جیسا عزیز تھے۔ ان کا جانا سلاؤ اور ان تمام لوگوں کے لیے بہت بڑا نقصان ہے جو انہیں جانتے تھے۔”

فوجی خدمات سے ریٹائرمنٹ کے بعد، سارجنٹ حسین سابق فوجیوں کی تنظیموں میں فعال رہے اور نوجوان گروپوں، مقامی مساجد اور تعلیمی پروگرامز کے ساتھ باقاعدگی سے تعاون کرتے رہے۔ وہ کمیونٹی اتحاد کے پختہ حامی تھے۔

شہر اور دیگر مقامات سے ان کے لیے تعزیتی پیغامات آ رہے ہیں۔ سلاؤ کے میئر نے ایک بیان میں افسوس کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا: “سارجنٹ محمد حسین عوامی خدمت کی بہترین مثال تھے۔ ان کی دیانتداری، بہادری، اور ہمدردی کی میراث ہماری کمیونٹی میں ہمیشہ زندہ رہے گی۔”

نماز جنازہ آج اتوار 22 جون کو دوپہر 2 بجے ڈائمنڈ روڈ مسجد میں ادا کی جائے گی۔ مقامی حکام نے بتایا ہے کہ ان کی خدمات کے اعتراف میں ایک یادگاری تقریب کا انعقاد بھی کیا جا ےگا۔

London  (Pothwar.com, Mohammad Naseer Raja– June 22, 2025): The town of Slough is mourning the loss of a highly respected figure, Sergeant Mohammed Hussain, of village Morra Bhuttian, Gujar Khan, who passed away peacefully at his home on Friday evening.

Sergeant Hussain was a retired British Army veteran known for his dedicated military service and tireless work within the local community. He served in the British Armed Forces for over two decades, including active duty in several international operations. His commitment to service has earned him admiration and respect across generations.

Family sources confirmed his passing late Friday, surrounded by loved ones. The cause of death is believed to be due to natural causes. Friends and family describe him as a “pillar of strength, humility, and compassion.”

“He was more than just a soldier. He was a mentor, a community leader, and a father figure to many. “His passing is a huge loss to Slough and to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.”

Following his retirement from military service, Sergeant Hussain remained active in veterans’ organisations and frequently collaborated with youth groups, local mosques, and educational programs. He was a passionate advocate for community unity.

The Namaz e janaza is be held at Diamond road Masjid at 2 pm today, Sunday, 22nd June. Local authorities have indicated that a memorial tribute may be considered to honour his contributions.
