Gujar Khan: Four Youths Fall Unconscious After Eating Chaat at Hotel Near UC Office in Bewal

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم، 18 جون 2025): بیول، جو کہ گوجر خان کے قریب واقع ایک قصبہ ہے، میں ایک تشویشناک واقعہ پیش آیا جہاں یونین کونسل دفتر کے قریب واقع ایک ہوٹل میں چاٹ کھانے کے بعد چار نوجوانوں کی حالت اچانک غیر ہو گئی اور وہ بے ہوش ہو گئے۔

عینی شاہدین کے مطابق نوجوانوں کا یہ گروپ شام کے وقت ہوٹل میں چاٹ کھانے کے لیے جمع ہوا تھا۔ کھانے کے تھوڑی دیر بعد ہی انہیں متلی، چکر اور قے کی شکایت ہونے لگی جس کے بعد وہ بے ہوش ہو گئے۔ موقع پر موجود افراد نے فوری طور پر قریبی دکان داروں کو اطلاع دی اور طبی امداد کے لیے رابطہ کیا۔

متاثرہ نوجوانوں کو ابتدائی طبی امداد کے لیے فوری طور پر ڈاکٹر طارق کے کلینک لے جایا گیا، مگر حالت بگڑنے پر انہیں بیول انٹرنیشنل ہسپتال منتقل کر دیا گیا۔ اسپتال ذرائع کے مطابق ان میں سے دو نوجوانوں کی حالت تشویشناک ہے۔

ابتدائی تحقیقات میں شبہ ظاہر کیا گیا ہے کہ واقعہ فوڈ پوائزننگ کا نتیجہ ہو سکتا ہے، جو ممکنہ طور پر چاٹ کی تیاری میں استعمال ہونے والے خراب یا مضر اجزاء کی وجہ سے پیش آیا۔ مقامی انتظامیہ نے ہوٹل کو عارضی طور پر سیل کر دیا ہے اور کھانے کے نمونے حاصل کر کے لیبارٹری بھیج دیے ہیں۔

پولیس اور محکمہ صحت نے مشترکہ طور پر تحقیقات کا آغاز کر دیا ہے تاکہ معلوم کیا جا سکے کہ خوراک کی آلودگی کی اصل وجہ کیا تھی اور کیا ہوٹل انتظامیہ کی طرف سے غفلت برتی گئی۔ اس واقعے کے بعد مقامی عوام میں چھوٹے ہوٹلوں اور سڑک کنارے قائم کھانے پینے کے مراکز میں حفظانِ صحت کے اصولوں پر تشویش پائی جاتی ہے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, June 18, 2025): A concerning incident occurred in Bewal, a town near Gujar Khan, where four young men suddenly fell unconscious after consuming chaat at a local hotel situated near the Union Council office.

According to eyewitnesses, the group of youths had gathered at the hotel for an evening snack and ordered chaat. Shortly after eating, they began experiencing symptoms of nausea, dizziness, and vomiting before losing consciousness. Bystanders immediately alerted nearby shopkeepers and called for medical assistance.

The unconscious youths were initially rushed to Dr. Tariq’s clinic for emergency first aid. However, due to the deteriorating condition of the patients, they were quickly referred to Bewal International Hospital for further treatment. Hospital sources confirmed that the condition of at least two of the affected individuals remains critical.

Preliminary reports suggest that food poisoning may have been the cause, possibly due to contaminated or spoiled ingredients used in the preparation of the chaat. Local authorities have sealed the hotel temporarily and collected food samples for laboratory testing.

Police and health officials have launched an investigation to determine the source of contamination and whether there was negligence on the part of the hotel management. The incident has sparked concern among locals about food safety standards in small eateries and roadside hotels in the area.
