Gujar Khan – (Pothwar.com, November 04, 2024) –— In a major breakthrough, Jatli Police have arrested fugitive Akhtar Munir, wanted for the murder of his cousin, Sher Khan, due to a longstanding family dispute. The accused had allegedly, along with accomplices, fatally attacked Sher Khan, slitting his throat with a knife before hiding the body at his residence and fleeing the scene.

The murder, which occurred last year, was reported by the victim’s brother, leading to an intensive investigation. Jatli Police leveraged human intelligence and other resources to track down the fugitive. SP Saddar Muhammad Nabeel Khokhar confirmed the arrest, stating that operations are ongoing to apprehend Munir’s accomplices and any individuals aiding them. Law enforcement remains committed to action against all involved in harbouring fugitives.
