Kahuta: Ex-PM Shahid Khaqan Abbassi launches ‘Awam Pakistan’ party, vow not to become part of any non-democratic act

کہوٹہ:(نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم،8,جولائی2024)سابق وزیراعظم شاہد خاقان عباسی نے اپنی نئی سیاسی جماعت ’عوام پاکستان پارٹی‘ لانچ کر دی ہے اور اس حوالے سے اسلام آبادمیں تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا، نئی سیاسی جماعت میں مفتاح اسماعیل، سردار مہتاب عباسی، رانا زاہد توصیف، زعیم قادری،ڈاکٹر ظفر مرزا، ڈاکٹر مہر لیاقت، شیخ صلاح الدین، دیوان سچل، بینا رضا، ڈاکٹر مہر لیاقت، سردار انور سومرو، ڈاکٹر اظہر اسلم میں شامل ہیں جبکہ شاہد خاقان عباسی عوام پاکستان پارٹی کے کنوینئر ہوں گے اور مفتاح اسماعیل پارٹی کے سیکرٹری ہوں گے۔

شاہد خاقان عباسی نے اپنی نئی جماعت ’عوام پاکستان پارٹی‘ کی لانچنگ تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ یہ ممکن نہیں کہ ملک ضابطے کے بغیرچل سکے،ہرغیرآئینی عمل نےملک کو کرپٹ ترین سیاستدان دیئے،احتساب ان لوگوں کا ہونا چاہیےجودوسروں پرٹیکس لگاتےہیں خود ادا نہیں کرتے،پاکستان میں اربوں کھربوں کا مال اسمگل ہوکر آتا ہے،یہ ملک ایسے کتنی دیر تک چلے گا،ہم نے ملک کے مسائل کو حل کرنا ہے بڑھانا نہیں ہے۔

شاہد خاقان عباسی نے کہا کہ معاشی ترقی کے لیے سیاسی استحکام چاہیے،ہم بغیر پڑھے قانون پاس کرتےہیں میں اس کا حصہ رہا،95 فیصد قوانین حکومت کی سہولت کیلئے ہوتے ہیں عوام کے لیے نہیں،آپ کو ملک آئین کے مطابق چلانا پڑے گا،عوام پاکستان میں خاندانی اور پیسے کی سیاست کو پروان نہیں چڑھایا جائے گا،عوام پاکستان میں عہدیدار دو ٹرم سے زیادہ نہیں رہیں گے،جو ملک انٹرنیٹ بند کردیتا ہو کیسے چلے گا،معیشت درست کرنیکا طریقہ ہے حکومت استطاعت مطابق ٹیکس وصول کرے۔سابق وزیراعظم نے کہا کہ کوشش ہے کہ ملکی حالات ٹھیک ہوسکیں،یہ ذاتی مفاد اور اقتدار کا سفر نہیں ہے،

شاہد خاقان عباسی کا کہناتھا کہ ہمارا ملک مشکل میں ہے اس کیلئےجوکرسکتے ہیں حاضرہیں،پاکستان میں نہ سیاسی استحکام ہے نہ معاشی استحکام ہے،بدقسمتی سے آج حکمرانوں کو کسی بات کی پرواہ نہیں،پاکستان کے 2 کروڑ 60 لاکھ بچے سکولوں سے باہر ہیں،جوملک دودھ پرٹیکس لگادے وہ اگلے سال کس پرٹیکس لگائے گا، ملک تکلیف میں ہے لوگ تکلیف میں ہیں،ارباب اختیار تماشائی بنے بیٹھے ہیں،ہم آج تباہی کیدہانےپرکھڑے ہیں لیکن کسی کو کوئی پرواہ نہیں۔

انہوں نے کہا کہ تین بڑی جماعتیں حکومت میں ہیں،عوام نے تمام سیاسی جماعتوں کو آزما لیا ہے،ایسیلوگ ہونیچاہییجو اقتدار کی کرسیاں تلاش نہ کررہیہوں،ہارے ہوئے لوگ کس اخلاقی اتھارٹی سے بات کریں گے،عوام پاکستان ایک غیر روائتی جماعت ہے،پاکستان میں سیاسی جماعتیں مخصوص مقاصد کے لیے بنتی ہیں،عوام پاکستان ریڈی میڈ جماعت نہیں ہے،ہرالیکٹیبل قابل قبول نہیں، عوام پاکستان میں شمولیت کیلئیعوامی شہرت بہترہونا ضروری ہے۔

شاہد خاقان عباسی نے کہا کہ عوام پاکستان میں ملک کو دینیوالے لوگ ہوں گے لینے والے نہیں، ہمیں احساس ہے کہ یہ مشکل سفر ہے، ہمارا آسان سفر اپنی سابق جماعتوں میں تھا، مشکل سفر کا آج پہلا قدم اٹھایا ہے، یہ ہر قیمت پر اقتدار کا سفر نہیں ہے، اسلام، پاکستان، عوام کی خدمت ہمارا نظریہ ہے، کچھ لوگ پوچھتے ہیں اسٹیبلشمنٹ ساتھ ہے، لوگ پوچھتے ہیں اسٹیبلشمنٹ سے اجازت لیکرآئے ہیں، لوگ سوچتیہیں کہ اسٹیبلشمنٹ کیبغیرسیاست نہیں ہوسکتی، جو جماعتیں بنی ہیں اسٹیبلشمنٹ نے ہی بنائی ہیں

Kahuta (Pothwar.com, July 8, 2024) Former prime minister and ex-Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) member Shahid Khaqan Abbasi launched his new political party “Awam Pakistan” and said that he and his party would not become part of any non-democratic move.

Flanked by his former PML-N colleagues Miftah Ismail and Mehtab Abbasi during the party’s launch in Islamabad, Khaqan said: “Politicians with tainted reputations won’t be a part of Awam Pakistan.”

The party’s launch comes after Khaqan and Miftah Miftah had parted ways from the ruling party following their differences with the leadership in recent months.

Giving rise to speculations about a new political platform, Khaqan in April approached the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for the registration of a new party.

Meanwhile, Ismail also hinted at the launch of a new party aimed at changing the entire governance system of the country with the masses as core sources of decision-making, last month.

In a hard-hitting press conference today, Khaqan, who served as the prime minister during the PML-N’s 2013-18 stint in power, bashed the incumbent government, saying that those won elections on the basis of “Form-47” — reference to the alleged manipulation in the election results — can’t build the country.

“We are just concerned about power, not about the country. Parties keep forming in Pakistan for specific purposes,” he said, adding that they had not invited anyone to join the newly-launched Awam Pakistan party. Electables are part of the politics but not acceptable, he added.

Without naming anyone, the ex-prime minister said that he and his fellow leaders remained a part of a particular political party in good or bad times but couldn’t be a part of it anymore just for the sake of power.

“The government consists of a handful of elites who don’t want to change the system,” Khaqan added.

“Everyone asks us if the establishment is with us based on the belief that the political parties are a failure without the establishment. Those who have been promoted by the establishment think this way,” he added.

Continuing his criticism of the Nawaz Sharif-led party, Abbasi said that he had been a part of those who “pass the laws without reading them”.

The laws are made for the commoners only, not the rulers, he said.

Abbasi further stated that many experiments had been done in the past so now we should try running the country according to the Constitution, as the governance system, police and other sectors have “failed”.

The politician said that the Awam Pakistan founders will reveal the party’s vision in a few weeks, saying that they would neither let the politics of money nor be a part of any non-democratic process.
