Rawat: “Uniform bylaws prepared to control unregulated constructions in Rawalpindi district”

روات(نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم، اکرام الحق قریشی,09،مئی,2023)—ضلع راولپنڈی میں بے ہنگم تعمیرات کو کنٹرول کرنے کیلئے یونیفارم بائی لاز کی تیاری شروع کر دی گئی۔ ضلع کونسل راولپنڈی‘ میونسپل کارپوریشن راولپنڈی‘ تمام تحصیلوں کے اسسٹنٹ کمشنرز اور پلاننگ آفیسرز کی باہمی مشاورت کے بعد ایک مسودہ تیار کیا گیا ہے جس کی نوک پلک درست کرنے کا کام جاری ہے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق ڈپٹی کمشنر راولپنڈی ڈاکٹر حسن وقار چیمہ کی سربراہی میں ایڈیشنل کمشنر ریونیو‘ ایڈیشنل کمشنر فنانس اینڈ پلاننگ‘ سی او ضلع کونسل‘ سی او میونسپل کارپوریشن راولپنڈی‘ اسسٹنٹ کمشنرز‘ ضلع بھر کے چیف آفیسرز کے ساتھ ساتھ تمام پلاننگ آفیسرز مسودہ پر کام کر رہے ہیں۔ گزشتہ روز کی میٹنگ میں تمام سٹیک ہولڈرز کو حتمی تجاویز جلداز جلد بھجوانے کی ہدایت کی گئی۔ اس وقت راولپنڈی ضلع میں ضلع‘ تحصیل اور میونسپل کارپوریشن کی سطح پر اپنے اپنے بائی لاز کے تحت امور انجام دیئے جا رہے ہیں۔ قوانین میں موجود سقم کا ناجائز تعمیرات کرنیوالے فائدہ اٹھاتے ہیں جبکہ شہری علاقوں کی خوبصورتی بھی متاثر ہو رہی ہے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق یونیفارم بائی لاز کے بعد تعمیرات میں محکموں کے مابین ہونیوالی کھینچا تانی بھی کم ہوگی اور مشروم کی طرح پھلنے پھولنے والی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹیوں کے امور بھی کنٹرول ہوں گے۔

Rawat (Pothwar.com, Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, 09, May 2023)- Rawalpindi district authorities have initiated the preparation of uniform bylaws to control unregulated constructions in the area.

After consultation between the Rawalpindi district council, Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi, and all assistant commissioners and planning officers of the tehsils, a draft has been prepared and work is underway to finalize it.

Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Dr. Hassan Waqar Cheema is leading the efforts, along with additional commissioners, revenue and planning, district council and Municipal Corporation officials, and all planning officers.

At a meeting held yesterday, stakeholders were directed to send final recommendations as soon as possible. Currently, each jurisdiction under Rawalpindi district, tehsil, and Municipal Corporation is operating under its own bylaws.

Illegal constructions take advantage of loopholes in the laws, affecting the beauty of urban areas. Uniform bylaws will reduce the gap between different jurisdictions and control the mushrooming of housing societies.
