Rawat; The relatives of the youth who died in the firing protested by placing the body on the Sawan bridge and blocking traffic

روات(نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم، اکرام الحق قریشی,28،اکتوبر,2022)— گزشتہ روز فائرنگ سے جاں بحق ہونیوالے محمددانش کی لاش سواں پل پررکھ کراحتجاج کیاگیا،منگل کو تھانہ ائرپورٹ کے علاقہ سٹی ولاز میں فائرنگ کرکے 16سالہ دانش کوقتل اوراس کے کزن لیاقت کو زخمی کردیا گیا تھا، بدھ کی صبح دانش کے ورثاء اس کی نعش لے کر جی ٹی روڈپر سواں پل پہنچ گئے جہاں انہوں نے نعش سڑک پر رکھ ٹریفک بند کر دی اور ملزموں کی فوری گرفتاری کیلئے احتجاج کیا۔ اطلاع ملنے پر ڈی ایس پی کاظم نقوی موقع پرپہنچ گئے جنہوں نے مظاہرین کو یقین دہانی کرائی کہ ملزموں کو گرفتارکر کے سزا دلوائی جائے گی۔ اس دوران تقریباً پون گھنٹہ تک احتجاج جاری رہا،ازاں بعدڈی ایس پی سے کامیاب مذاکرات کے بعدمظاہرین منتشرہوگئے اورجی ٹی روڈپرٹریفک بحال کردی گئی۔

Cousin Liaquat was also injured, on Wednesday morning the heirs of Danish took his body to Sawan bridge on GT Road where they kept the body on the road and stopped the traffic and protested for the immediate arrest of the accused.

On receiving the information, DSP Kazim Naqvi reached the spot and assured the protesters that the accused will be arrested and punished.

Meanwhile, the protest continued for about five hours, after successful negotiations with the DSP, the protesters dispersed and GT Road traffic was restored.
