London; M Malik who murdered his daughters mother in law is found guilty of manslaughter in Nelson

لندن :(نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم ,محمد نصیر راجہ،15جنوری2022)— نیلسن میں بیٹی کی شادی ختم ہونے پر اس کی ساس کو کلہاڑی سے قتل کرنے والے محمد ملک کو غیر ارادی قتل کا مجرم قرار دیا گیا ہے۔ محمد ملک نے گزشتہ برس4جولائی کو عشرت احمد اور اس کے شوہر آفاق احمد پر ان کے گھر کے دروازے پر کلہاڑی سے حملہ کردیا تھا۔ محمد ملک وہاں بیٹے وسیم کو تلاش کرنے کے لیے گیا تھا جس سے اس کی بیٹی کی شادی ٹوٹی تھی۔ حملہ کے نتیجہ میں52سالہ عشرت احمد ہسپتال جاکر دم توڑ گئی تھیں جب کہ55سالہ آفاق احمد شدید زخمی ہوگیا تھا، حملے کے بعد محمد ملک اپنے گھر چلا گیا تھا جہاں سے پولیس نے تھوڑی دیر بعد اسے گرفتار کرلیا اور گھر کے بیک گارڈن سے کلہاڑی بھی برآمد کرلی۔ جیوری نے محمد ملک کو آفاق احمد کے قتل عمد کے الزام سے بری لیکن غیر ارادی قتل کا مجرم قرار دیا۔ محمد ملک کو11فروری کو سزا سنائی جائے گی۔

London; A ‘kind and sweet’ mother was killed in the doorway of her home by a man with an axe following a family dispute.

Mohammed Yaqub Malik was cleared of murdering Ishrat Ahmed, but found guilty by a jury of her manslaughter.

During a trial which lasted several weeks, Preston Crown Court heard how Malik had attacked Ishrat and her husband Afaq Ahmed in the doorway of their Nelson home.
Ishrat, 52, suffered serious head injuries and died later in hospital.

Afaq was also taken to hospital suffering serious brain injuries but has since recovered.

Prosecutors told the jury how Malik had driven to the couple’s home on Roberts Street in Nelson looking for their son Wasim, who had been married to one of his daughters.

The couple had split acrimoniously and there were ongoing disputes between the pair, of which Malik was aware.

Following the attack Malik drove back to his home address where he was arrested a short time later.

The weapon was subsequently found by police hidden in the back garden.

Malik, 58, of Heights Road, Nelson, was cleared of murder and attempted murder following a trial at Preston Crown Court. He will be sentenced for manslaughter and wounding (Sec 20) on February 11th.

Detective Chief Inspector Allen Davies, of the Force Major Investigation Team, said: “My thoughts today are first and foremost with the loved ones of Ishrat Ahmed who was killed in the most brutal fashion.

“Mohammed Malik launched an attack of unsparing violence on the Ahmed’s using a weapon he had chosen and taken to their home address.
