Rawat; NAB challenges Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s bail decision in Supreme Court

روات (نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم , 26ستمبر2021ء)—نیب نے اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ کی جانب سے سابق وزیر اعظم شاہد خاقان عباسی کی ایل این جی کرپشن کیس میں ہونے والی ضمانت کی منسوخی کیلئے سپریم کورٹ سے رجوع کرلیا ہے،چیئرمین نیب نے پراسیکیوٹر نیب کے توسط ہفتہ کے روز آئین کے آرٹیکل 185کے تحت دائر کی گئی سول پٹیشن فار لیوو ٹو اپیل (سی پی ایل اے)میں سابق وفاقی وزیر پٹرولیم وسابق وزیر اعظم شاہد خاقان عباسی کو فریق بناتے ہوئے موقف اختیار کیا ہے کہ عدالت اسلام آباد ہائیکورٹ کے 27فروری 2020کے حکمنامہ کی قانونی حیثیت،معقولیت اورشدت کاجائزہ لیتے ہوئے انصاف کی فراہمی کیلئے اسے کالعدم قرار دینے کا حکم جاری کرے۔
Rawat; (Pothwar.com, 26th September, 2021) The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has challenged the bail decision of former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in the LNG case in the Supreme Court.
According to details, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approached the Supreme Court against the bail decision of former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi of the Islamabad High Court in the LNG case.
The NAB appeal said that the appeal against the decisions of the High Court dated February 25, 27 should be allowed and the bail decision of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi should be quashed. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has been made a party in the appeal.
In the LNG case, the NAB needs an explanation of Rs 63 crore from former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. A total of Rs 637 million was transferred to the accounts of Shahid Khaqan and his son Abdullah.
The NAB report said that Shahid Khaqan bought money lacquer shares from AirBlue account, opened one of his accounts as an engineer, transferred 5 500,000 from Trinity FZC to the account, and received the money as agent commission services and engineering services.
According to the investigation report, in 5 days in 2016, 57 million transfers were made to this account and 56 million were returned to Air Blue, buying shares of Air Blue.
The report said that son Abdullah transferred Rs 49 lakh to his father, while from December 2016 to January 2017, money was transferred from the Indian company, a total of Rs 563 million was transferred from the Indian company to Shahid Khaqan’s account.
The NAB report had said that the money from abroad came to Shahid Khaqan’s account during the tenure of the Petroleum Minister and 5 538,895 was transferred to Shahid Khaqan’s account.
