Manchester; Father and son Fareed and Faisal land 32 years in jail for Ebay scam in Oldham

مانچسٹر، پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم۔۔۔۔ مانچسٹر کے علاقے اولڈھم میں باپ بیٹے کو ای بے پر کسٹمرز کو لوٹنے کے جرم میں مجموعی طور پر بتیس سال قید کی سزا سنا دی گئی۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق محمد فرید اور فیصل فرید نے ای بے سائٹ پر کار کی فروخت کے اشتہار کے ذریعے کئی افراد کو سفر کر کے اولڈھم آنے پر مجبور کیا اور جب وہ لوگ رقم کے ساتھ اولڈھم آتے تو انھیں مار پیٹ کر رقم ہتھیانے کی کوشش کی جاتی۔مجموعی طور پر چودہ ڈکیتیوں کے مرتکب باپ بیٹے نے مل کر دھوکہ دہی کا پروگرام چلایا پہلے سینتالیس سالہ باپ نے اس کی منصوبہ بندی اور بیٹے کی کمپیوٹرز کی تکنیکی مہارت کے ذریعے اپنے منصوبے کو عملی جامہ پہنایا۔ بیٹے فیصل نے عدالت کو بتایا کہ وہ فیصل دی فراڈسٹر کے نام سے مشہور تھا۔
Manchester; A father and a son from Oldham have been jailed for a combination of 32 years for their role in an Ebay scam which duped people and violently robbed them. He jailed Fareed for 20 years, Faisal Farid for 12 years.
Mohammed Fareed and Faisal Farid had been on trial at Manchester Crown Court last month, where they jury heard their deception weaved people in from as far away as Dundee in Scotland, Newport in Wales, Northern Ireland and London.
People would turn up in Manchester or Oldham in the hope of buying a car which they had seen on Ebay but would be met with violent attackers who tried to get their money from them.
In total 14 robberies of attempted robberies took place between September 2019 and February the following year. Fareed, 47, and Farid, 25, were found guilty by the jury earlier this month.
During the course of the trial it was heard that the father had got the son involved but the son’s technical knowledge on Ebay had assisted the scheme.
The son, giving evidence, admitted he was known as “Faisal the fraudster.”
