لندن۔ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم۔۔۔۔ پندرہ سال کی عمر میں اپنی ماں کے محبوب کے قتل کے جرم میں قاسم نواز کو تا عمر جیل کی سزا سنا دی گئی۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق چھ بچوں کی ماں زیتون بی بی کا تنویر اقبال کے ساتھ افئیر چل رہاتھا مگر جب تنویر کی جانب سے افئیر کو ختم کیا گیا تو زیتون بی بی نے اس بات کا بہت برا مانا اور اپنے شوہر گل نواز اور اپنے اس وقت پندرہ سالہ بیٹے کو ورغلا کر تنویر کے قتل پر آمادہ کر لیا۔ عدالت مین کہا گیا کہ اس سارے واقعے مین بچے کے کردار پر بہت ہی افسوس ہوتا ہے کیونکہ وہ عدالت میں بیٹھ کر ماں باپ کے درمیان ہونے والی چپقلش کو روز سنتا تھا جس میں دونوں ایک دوسرے پر الزام تراشیاں کرتے تھے۔اور ایسا محسوس ہوتا تھا کہ ماں نے اپنے بچے کو اپنے محبوب کے قتل کے لئے ریکروٹ کیا تھا۔ جس نے انجام کی پرواہ نہ کرتے ہوئے تنویر اقبال کا گلہ دبا کر اسے قتل کردیا۔ تینوں افراد کو قتل میں حصہ داری پر علٰیحدہ علٰیحدہ سزائیں سنائی گئیں۔ جس میں بیالیس سالہ زیتون بی بی کو تا عمر قید کی سزا سنائی گئی جس میں اسے کم از کم ساتئیس سال قید میں گزارنے ہوں گے۔ جبکہ اس کے شوہر گل نواز کو بھی ستائیس سال کی ہی سزا سنائی گئی جبکہ قاسم نواز کو بھی تا عمر قید کے ساتھ ساتھ کم از کم چھ سال جیل کی سزا سنائی گئی۔
London; Kashim convicted of murder after helping his parents to murder his mother’s lover was ‘manipulated’ by his mother, a barrister has claimed.
Mother-of-six Zatoon Bibi now 42, from Birmingham, murdered her estranged lover Tanveer Iqbal in January 2016 because she resented him for ending their affair, with the help of her husband, Gul Nawaz, and son Kashim, who was 15 at the time.
Speaking in 5Star’s crime documentary My Lover My Killer, which aired last night at 10pm, Tahir Khan who represented her husband, Gul Nawaz, said he felt ‘sorry’ for the teenager, despite his role in strangling Tanveer to death.
Khan said Kashim had been been ‘recruited’ by his parents, while Zatoon’s barrister Jo Sidhu reflected that the teenager had to sit in court and listen to his parents tearing each other apart as they tried to put the blame on one another.
In September 2016 Bibi was handed a life sentence, to serve a minimum of 27 years, while Gul Nawaz was told he would serve 25 years before being considered for parole. Kashim was sentenced to life with a minimum of six years behind bar.
After a six-week long trial, Bibi received a life sentenced with a minimum of 27 years in prison, Gul Nawaz received 25 years without parole and Kashim received a life sentenced with a minimum prison time of six years.
