ایم این اے کے خواب دیکھنے والوں کو سخت مایوسی ہوئی ہے،راجہ پرویز اشرف کو اللہ نے عزت بخشی ہے۔بیول اور اس کے گردو نواع کے جیالوں اور پی پی پی کے کارکنان کا جشن۔ راجہ پرویز اشرف سابق وزیر اعظم پاکستان کی رینٹل پاور کیس میں بریت اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ انہوں نے کوئی کرپشن نہیں کی اور نہ ہی انہوں نے کوئی ایسا کام کیا جو ملکی اور عوامی مفاد کے خلاف ہو۔ انہوں نے نہ صرف تحصیل گوجر خان بلکہ پورے پاکستان کے بے روز گار افراد کو روز گار فراہم کیا اور انہیں عزت سے روٹی روزی کمانے کا موقع دیا۔عدالت سے بری ہو نے پر وہ افراد جو فرعونیت تکبر سے ایم این اے بننے کے خواب دیکھ رہے تھے ان کے خواب اور ارادے چکنا چور ہو گئیے ہیں۔اس عدالتی فیصلے سے راجہ پرویز اشرف نہ صرف عدالت سے بری الزمہ ہوئے بلکہ ایک مرتبہ پھر عوام کی عدالت میں بھی سرخرو ہو ئے ہیں۔ ان خیالات کا اظہار پی پی پی کے جیالوں نے راجہ پرویز اشرف کی بریت پر کیا۔
Gujar Khan; PPP leader and former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf was acquitted in the Rental Power Plant reference, as the NAB failed to prove corruption charges against him.His supporters in Gujar Khan went out to celebrte the news.
Accountability Court Judge Mohammad Bashir announced the judgment, which was reserved on the last hearing after arguments from both sides concluded. The court said the NAB could not prove any corruption charges against Ashraf. Others named in the case, including Shaukat Tareen, former Pesco MD Basharat Cheema, and Shahid Rafique were also acquitted.
A reference against Ashraf was filed in December 2019 after Rana Amjad, the manager of the Sahiwal-Multan project, turned approver in the case. Ashraf was accused of misusing authority during his tenure as minister for water and power to obtain approval from the Economic Coordination Committee and the Federal cabinet for an increase in the down payment to the rental power companies from 7% to 14%, amounting to about Rs22 billion.
