گجرات میں گھر سے برطانیہ سے آنے والی دو بہنوں کی لاشیں برآمد ہوئی ہیں۔اہلخانہ کا مؤقف ہے کہ لڑکیوں کی موت گیس لیک ہونے کے باعث دم گھٹنے سے ہوئی۔عبدالرحمان نامی شخص اپنے اہل خانہ کے ہمراہ برطانیہ سے کچھ دنوں پہلے ہی گجرات کے گاؤں منڈی میرپور آیا تھا۔اہل خانہ نے دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ یہ واقعہ 12 جنوری کو پیش آیا، 25 سالہ ماریہ اور 19 سالہ نادیہ نہانے کیلئے گئی تھیں، گیزر کی گیس لیک اور دم گھٹنے سے دونوں بہنیں جاں بحق ہوگئیں۔پولیس نے اہل خانہ کے بیانات قلمبند کرلیے ہیں اور ابتدائی تفتیش کے بعد دونوں کی تدفین کردی گئی ہے۔تھانہ دولت نگر پولیس نے لاشوں کے نمونے لیبارٹری ٹیسٹ کیلئے لاہور بھجوادیے ہیں۔پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ واقعہ کا مقدمہ درج کرلیا گیا ہے، رپورٹ آنے پر مزید قانونی کارروائی کی جائے گی۔
Manchester; Two sisters from Lancashire died from a gas leak from a boiler while visiting relatives in Pakistan, police say.
Nadia, 18, and Maria Rehman, 24, from Preston, were found collapsed in a house in the Mandi Mirpur, Daulat Nagar area. Police in the nearby city of Gujrat ruled there were no suspicious circumstances and said there would be no arrests in the case.
The sisters died eight days ago. Maria was a model while her sister was a student. Police have carried out post-mortem examinations on the women.A spokesman said: “We have looked at the cylinders, the pipes, the bodies of the girls. We have gone through the crime scene a number of times.
“We have found no evidence, no scientific evidence, to suggest anything different to arrest anyone on this case.”Haider Ali, the Imam from the women’s mosque in Preston, said their deaths left “distress, sadness and sorrow”.
