مرکزی جامع مسجد وکٹوریہ پارک کے خطیب علامہ عرفان چشتی اپنے منصب سے سبکدوش ہوگئے۔ جمعیت المسلمین مانچسٹر نے ان کی اعلیٰ دینی تعلیمی تربیتی صلاحیتوں کا اعتراف کرتے ہوئے انہیں یادگاری شیلڈز اور خوبصورت تحائف دے کر رخصت کیا۔ علامہ عرفان چشتی انگلش اور اردو میں اعلیٰ تعلیم یافتہ عالم ہیں۔ انہوں نے گزشتہ چند سالوں میں مرکزی جامع مسجد وکٹوریہ پارک کو علمی درس گاہ میں تبدیل کردیا تھا اور ان کے اسٹوڈنٹس میں مختلف ڈاکٹرز، انجینئرز اور یونیورسٹیوں کے طلبا بھی شامل تھے۔ علامہ عرفان چشتی کی خدمات کو سراہتے ہوئے مسجد انتظامیہ جمعیت المسلمین کے صدر احترام خان نے کہا کہ انہوں نے مسلم کمیونٹی مانچسٹر کی دینی اصلاحی تعلیمی خدمت کی وہ نہایت بردبار اور دینی علوم میں جدید تقاضوں کو سمجھتے اور مانچسٹر میں دیگر مذاہب کے ساتھ ہم آہنگی کے لئے مسجد انتظامیہ کے ساتھ مل کر کام کیا۔
Khateeb Imam Irfan Chishti has left his position at the masjid. In honour of his service, time, effort and commitment to our community, the president of the executive management Uncle Ihtiram Khan presented an engraved shield of appreciation after his final Jummah speech
In addition to this, the students of his weekly study class decided to hold a farewell party in order to mark Imam sahib’s final evening with them. They presented him with numerous gifts, had food and even presented him with a cake to commemorate his birthday last weekend.
Everyone at Manchester Central Masjid thanked Imam Irfan for all his hardwork during his time here. His effort, willingness to inspire and push the masjid forward was brilliant and his service will not be forgotten.
