Rawat: Inauguration of Rawalpindi’s first vegetable and fruit market near Rawat

کلرسیداں(نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم,اکرام الحق قریشی,30،اکتوبر,2023)—کمشنر راولپنڈی ڈویژن لیاقت علی چٹھہ نے روات کے قریب راولپنڈی کی پہلی سبزی و فروٹ منڈی کا افتتاح کر دیاسبزی منڈی 20 کنال رقبے پر محیط ہے اس موقع پر سپیشل سیکرٹری ایگریکلچر سیدہ کلثوم حئی، ڈپٹی کمشنر راولپنڈی حسن وقار چیمہ، ڈائریکٹر ایگریکلچر ایکسٹینشن راولپنڈی شاہد بخاری سمیت دیگر افسران بھی موجود تھے۔کمشنر راولپنڈی لیاقت چٹھہ نے کہا کہ سبزی و فروٹ منڈی میں باقاعدہ بولی کا آغاز 30 اکتوبر بروز پیر سے ہو گا یہ وزیراعلی پنجاب محسن نقوی کا عوام اور کسان دوست پروگرام کا حصہ ہے جس سے زرعی تجارت کو علاقائی سطح پر فروغ ملے گا اور یہ راولپنڈی ضلع کی پہلی سبزی و فروٹ منڈی ہے جس کے قیام سے راولپنڈی کی 30 لاکھ آبادی مستفید ہوگی۔ سبزی منڈی کے قیام سے راولپنڈی کے مضافات اور دور دراز علاقوں میں سبزی وفروٹ کی سپلائی کرنے والوں کو بھی آسانی ہوگی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ انتظامیہ عوام کی آسانی کے لیے اقدامات کر رہی ہے راولپنڈی بہت بڑا شہر ہے اسے سبزی و فروٹ منڈی کی اشد ضرورت تھی جس کے قیام سے راولپنڈی کے مقامی لوگوں کو روزگار ملے گاراولپنڈی کے مضافات میں لوگوں کو اسلام آباد سبزی و فروٹ منڈی جانے کے لیے بہت لمبا سفر کرنا پرتا تھا۔

Kallar Syedan (Pothwar.com, Ikramul Haq Qureshi, 30, October 2023)-Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Liaquat Ali Chatta inaugurated Rawalpindi’s first vegetable and fruit market near Rawat. The vegetable market covers an area of 20 kanals.

Secretary Agriculture Syeda Kalsoom Hai, Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi Hasan Waqar Cheema, Director Agriculture Extension Rawalpindi Shahid Bukhari, and other officers were also present. Commissioner Rawalpindi Liaquat Chatta said that regular bidding in the vegetable and fruit market will begin on Monday, October 30.

It is part of Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi’s Public and Kisan Dost program which will promote agricultural trade at the regional level and this is the first vegetable and fruit market of the Rawalpindi district which will benefit the 30 lakh population of Rawalpindi.

The establishment of the vegetable market will also facilitate the suppliers of fruits and vegetables in the suburbs of Rawalpindi and remote areas. He said that the administration is taking steps for the convenience of the people. Rawalpindi is a big city, it was in dire need of a vegetable and fruit market, the establishment of which provided employment to the local people of Rawalpindi. It used to be a long journey to go to the market.
