Gujar Khan: New Tube Well Inaugurated in Ward No. 19 to Improve Water Supply

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام | 5 جولائی 2026): وارڈ نمبر 19 کی نواحی آبادی میں پینے کے صاف پانی کی دیرینہ قلت پر قابو پانے کے لیے تعمیر کیے گئے نئے ٹیوب ویل کی افتتاحی تقریب مقامی شہریوں کے زیرِ اہتمام منعقد ہوئی، جس میں علاقہ مکینوں، معززین اور سرکاری حکام کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔
تقریب میں نئے ٹیوب ویل کا باقاعدہ افتتاح کیا گیا، جسے اہلِ علاقہ نے علاقے کی بنیادی سہولیات کی فراہمی کی جانب ایک اہم پیش رفت قرار دیا۔ شرکاء کا کہنا تھا کہ اس منصوبے سے نہ صرف وارڈ نمبر 19 بلکہ اس سے ملحقہ آبادیوں میں بھی پینے کے صاف پانی کی فراہمی میں نمایاں بہتری آئے گی اور شہریوں کو پانی کی قلت کے دیرینہ مسئلے سے خاطر خواہ ریلیف ملے گا۔
ٹیوب ویل کی تعمیر کے لیے درکار جگہ مقامی معروف تاجر شخصیت خالد شیشے والے نے بلدیہ گوجر خان کو بطور عطیہ فراہم کی۔ تقریب کے شرکاء نے ان کی اس عوامی خدمت اور فلاحی جذبے کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان کا یہ اقدام سماجی ذمہ داری اور خدمتِ خلق کی بہترین مثال ہے۔
افتتاحی اور دعائیہ تقریب میں اسسٹنٹ کمشنر گوجر خان خضر ظہور گورائیہ اور چیف آفیسر بلدیہ گوجر خان غلام قمر وڑائچ نے بطور مہمانانِ خصوصی شرکت کی۔ اس موقع پر پاکستان مسلم لیگ (ن) کی متحرک رہنما صدف بٹ، قاری اشرف سمیت علاقے کی متعدد ممتاز سماجی و سیاسی شخصیات بھی موجود تھیں۔
تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے مقررین نے کہا کہ نئے ٹیوب ویل کی تکمیل مقامی انتظامیہ اور عوام کے باہمی تعاون کا عملی ثبوت ہے۔ انہوں نے امید ظاہر کی کہ مستقبل میں بھی اسی جذبے کے ساتھ ترقیاتی منصوبے مکمل کیے جائیں گے تاکہ گوجر خان کے شہریوں کو بہتر شہری سہولیات فراہم کی جا سکیں اور عوامی فلاح و بہبود کے منصوبوں کو مزید فروغ دیا جا سکے۔
تقریب کے اختتام پر علاقے کی ترقی، خوشحالی، امن و استحکام اور ملک کی سلامتی کے لیے خصوصی دعا کی گئی۔ اہلِ علاقہ نے نئے ٹیوب ویل کی تکمیل پر خوشی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے امید ظاہر کی کہ یہ منصوبہ طویل عرصے تک ہزاروں شہریوں کو صاف پینے کے پانی کی فراہمی یقینی بنانے میں اہم کردار ادا کرے گا۔
Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com | July 05, 2026) — A new tube well was officially inaugurated in the Nawahi Abadi area of Ward No. 19 during a ceremony organised by local residents, marking an important step toward addressing the area’s long-standing drinking water shortage. The event was attended by a large number of residents, community leaders, and government officials.
The project received widespread appreciation after local businessman Khalid Sheeshay Walay generously donated the land required for the construction of the tube well to the Municipal Committee of Gujar Khan. Participants at the ceremony paid tribute to his public-spirited contribution, describing it as a valuable example of community service and civic responsibility.
The inauguration and prayer ceremony were attended by Assistant Commissioner Khizar Zahoor Goraya and Chief Officer of Municipal Committee Gujjar Khan Ghulam Qamar Waraich as chief guests. Also present were active Sadaf Butt leader Sadaf Butt, Qari Ashraf, and several other respected members of the local community.
Addressing the gathering, speakers highlighted the importance of the newly completed tube well, stating that it would significantly improve the supply of clean drinking water not only for Ward No. 19 but also for surrounding neighbourhoods. They noted that the project would help reduce the persistent water shortage faced by residents and improve their overall quality of life.
Officials and community representatives emphasised that the successful completion of the project reflected the positive results of cooperation between the local administration and the community. They expressed hope that similar development initiatives would continue to address the civic needs of Gujjar Khan and enhance public welfare.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, special prayers were offered for the continued development and prosperity of the area, as well as for peace, stability, and the security of the country. Residents welcomed the completion of the project and expressed optimism that the new water facility would provide long-term relief from water scarcity while meeting the growing needs of the local population.
