The project received widespread appreciation after local businessman Khalid Sheeshay Walay generously donated the land required for the construction of the tube well to the Municipal Committee of Gujar Khan. Participants at the ceremony paid tribute to his public-spirited contribution, describing it as a valuable example of community service and civic responsibility.
The inauguration and prayer ceremony were attended by Assistant Commissioner Khizar Zahoor Goraya and Chief Officer of Municipal Committee Gujjar Khan Ghulam Qamar Waraich as chief guests. Also present were active Sadaf Butt leader Sadaf Butt, Qari Ashraf, and several other respected members of the local community.
Addressing the gathering, speakers highlighted the importance of the newly completed tube well, stating that it would significantly improve the supply of clean drinking water not only for Ward No. 19 but also for surrounding neighbourhoods.
