گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — 13 دسمبر 2025) — مندرہ–چکوال روڈ پر واقع موہڑہ فاطمہ کے مقام پر پیر کے روز ایک بڑا حادثہ ٹل گیا، جب مسافر بردار ہائی ایس وین میں اچانک آگ بھڑک اُٹھی۔ ابتدائی اطلاعات کے مطابق آگ لگنے کی وجہ پیٹرول لیکج بتائی جا رہی ہے، جس کے باعث گاڑی چند ہی لمحوں میں شعلوں کی لپیٹ میں آگئی۔

آگ کی شدت کے باوجود ڈرائیور، کنڈیکٹر اور تمام مسافر معجزانہ طور پر محفوظ رہے۔ عینی شاہدین کے مطابق آگ بہت تیزی سے پھیلی جس سے مسافروں میں خوف و ہراس پھیل گیا، تاہم ڈرائیور کی بروقت کارروائی نے سب کو گاڑی سے بحفاظت باہر نکلنے میں مدد دی۔

واقعے کی اطلاع ملتے ہی ریسکیو 1122، فائر بریگیڈ، ایس ایچ او تھانہ جاتلی اور پیٹرولنگ پولیس کے اہلکار فوری طور پر موقع پر پہنچ گئے۔ ریسکیو ٹیموں نے شعلوں پر قابو پا لیا اور آگ کو قریبی گاڑیوں یا املاک تک پھیلنے سے روک دیا۔

انتظامیہ نے واقعے کی تحقیقات شروع کر دی ہیں تاکہ پیٹرول لیکج کی اصل وجہ معلوم کی جا سکے اور یہ جائزہ لیا جا سکے کہ آیا گاڑی کی مناسب مرمت یا حفاظتی چیکنگ کی گئی تھی یا نہیں۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com — 13 December 2025) — A major accident was narrowly averted on Monday when a passenger HiAce van suddenly caught fire near Mohrra Fatima on the Mandra–Chakwal Road. According to initial reports, the blaze was triggered by a petrol leakage that caused the vehicle to ignite within moments.

Despite the intensity of the fire, all passengers, including the driver and conductor, miraculously escaped without injury. Witnesses at the scene said that the flames spread rapidly, creating panic among commuters, but the quick action of the driver helped the passengers evacuate safely.

Upon receiving the emergency call, Rescue 1122 teams, along with the fire brigade, promptly reached the location. The Station House Officer (SHO) of Jatli Police Station and the patrolling police wardens also arrived and assisted in securing the area. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to nearby vehicles or property.

Authorities have begun an investigation to determine the exact cause of the petrol leakage and to assess whether the vehicle had undergone proper maintenance checks.
