Blackburn, UK; Thousands attend Blackburn Mela with Kabbadi and tent pegging events

بلیک برن، یوکے؛(نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم،محمد نصیر راجہ,21جولائی,2022)— ملک بھر سےگھوڑےسواروں کو ٹینٹ پیگنگ ٹورنامنٹ میں حصہ لیتے ہوئے دیکھنے کے لیے ہزاروں لوگ نکلے۔بلیک برن کبڈی میلہ (فیسٹیول) تین سال کی غیر موجودگی کے بعد واپس آیا اور پلیزنگٹن پلیئنگ فیلڈز میں دن بھر منعقد ہوا۔تقریبات کا آغاز صبح سویرے ہوا جس میں متعدد مقامی اور قومی کلبوں کےگھوڑےسواروں نے حصہ لیا۔ ہر کلب نے اپنے اپنے کلب کے رنگوں میں ملبوس پگڑیوں کے ساتھ ایک عظیم الشان داخلہ بنایا جس میں حامی ڈھول کے ساتھ شامل ہوئے۔بعد ازاں والی بال اور ویٹ لفٹنگ کے مقابلوں نے لوگوں کو داد دی۔جیسے ہی دوپہر کے وقت درجہ حرارت میں اضافہ ہوا، کبڈی کے کھلاڑیوں نے مرکز کا رخ کیا۔اس دن کے مہمانوں میں بلیک برن کے میئر ود ڈارون کونسلر سلیمان کھونٹ بھی شامل تھے جنہوں نے تقریب کے اسپانسرز اور مہمانوں کے ساتھ اسٹیجنگ ایریا سے کبڈی دیکھنے کے لیے شرکت کی۔

Blackburn, UK; Thousands turned out to watch horse riders from across the country take part in a tent pegging tournament.

The Blackburn Kabaddi Mela (festival) returned following a three-year absence and took place throughout the day at Pleasington Playing Fields.

Festivities began early in the morning with horse riders from several local and national clubs taking part. Each club, dressed in their club colours with matches turbans made a grand entrance joined by supporters with dhols.

Later in the day a volleyball and weightlifting competition wowed crowds.
As temperatures soared in the afternoon, the kabaddi players took centre stage.

Among the guests on the day was the Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen Council, Cllr Suleman Khonat who joined event sponsors and guests to watch the kabaddi from a staging area.
