London; Family and friends who come to say goodbye to passengers at the airport are fined for abusing Covid regulations

ائرپورٹ پر مسافروں کو الوداع کہنے آنے والوں پر کوویڈ جرمانہ

لندن، پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم۔۔۔محمد نصیر راجہ۔۔ گریٹر مانچسٹر پولیس نے مانچسٹر ائر پورٹ پر اپنے قریبی عزیزوں، رشتے داروں،دوست احباب کو الوداع کہنے کیلئیآنے والے 150سے زائد افراد کو کوویڈ جرمانے کے نوٹس جاری کیے ہیں، پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ مسافروں کو اتارنے کیلئے بڑی تعداد میں لوگ ائر پورٹ پہنچ رہے ہیں اور روانگی ٹرمینل میں آکر موجودہ کورونا وائرس کے ضوابط کی خلاف ورزی کررہے ہیں جس کے نتیجے میں160کے قریب افراد کو مقررہ جرمانے کے نوٹس ملے ہیں اور جو مسافر سفر کررہے ہیں ان کو موجودہ قواعد کے تحت ایک معقول وجہ بتانے کی ضرورت پڑے گی اور آئندہ پیر سے وہ قانونی طور پر ائر لائن کو اس سفر کی وجہ بتانے کے مجاز ہوں گے، مانچسٹر ہوائی اڈے پر چیف انسپکٹر اینڈی سیلف نے کہا ہے کہ روایتی طور پر لوگ ائر پورٹ پر اپنے عزیزوں کو روانہ کرنے کیلئے پہنچ جاتے ہیں، بدقسمتی سے اس وقت کوویڈ19کے قواعد و ضوابط کے مطابق ایسا کرنا ممکن نہیں ہے، انہوں نے کہا کہ ہم روانگی ٹرمینل میں لوگوں کی تعداد کو کم سے کم کرنے کی کوشش کررہے ہیں اور جب وہ خود سفرکررہے ہوں اس وقت انہیں اس چیز کی اجازت ہوگی، انہوں نے کہا یہ میرے افسران سمیت ٹرمینل میں موجود ہر ایک کی صحت کو خطرے میں ڈالنے کے مترادف ہے اور یہی وجہ ہے کہ ان لوگوں سے سوال کرنے کیلئے سرگرم رہنا پڑتا ہے، وہ وہاں کیوں آئے، انہوں نے کہا صرف وہی لوگ جو سفر کرنے والے ہیں انہیں ٹرمینل میں ہونا چاہیے، انہوں نے کہا کہ سفر کرنے والے شخص کو گھر کے کسی فرد یا عوامی ٹرانسپورٹ کے ذریعے اتارا جانا چاہیے، اس سلسلے میں سرکاری ضابطوں کے مطابق گشت کررہے ہیں اور وائرس کے پھیلائو کو روکنے کیلئے یہ سب کچھ کرنا پڑے گا،

London; Police have issued more than 150 covid fines to people turning up to Manchester Airport to wave their loved ones off!

Airport police say an increasing number of people are arriving at the airport in large groups to drop off passengers and coming into the departure terminal, breaching current coronavirus regulations ­— resulting in around 160 fixed penalty notices

And passengers who are travelling need to have a valid reason under current rules and legally from Monday they will have notify the airline of the reason for the journey.

Chief Inspector Andy Sutcliffe at Manchester Airport said: “Traditionally people arrive at the airport to wish loved ones and family members a safe flight and to wave them off. Unfortunately at the moment this is not possible due to Covid-19 and the regulations that the Government has put in place.

“We are trying to minimise the number of people in the departures terminal and this is not possible when people who are not travelling enter the area. It’s risking the health of everyone in the terminal including my officers who have to actively engage with them to question why they are there.

“Only people who are travelling on a pre-booked flight should be in the terminal and they should be dropped off by one person from their household or bubble or by public transport. We are patrolling in-line with Government regulations and will do all we can to reduce the spread of the virus and protect the legitimate users of the airport”
