Kuwait Officially Approves Defence Cooperation Agreement with Pakistan

راولپنڈی (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی |31جولائی 2026) — کویت نے پاکستان کے ساتھ دفاعی تعاون کے ایک اہم معاہدے کی باضابطہ منظوری دینے کی اطلاعات سامنے آئی ہیں۔ اس حوالے سے عرب نیوز سے منسلک صحافی وسیم عباسی نے ایکس پر اپنے ایک پیغام میں بتایا کہ کویت نے پاکستان کے ساتھ دفاعی تعاون کے معاہدے کی شائع شدہ تفصیلات کی باضابطہ طور پر منظوری دے دی ہے، جس پر 2023 میں دستخط ہوئے تھے، آج اس کی تفصیلات کویت نے اپنے سرکاری گزٹ میں شائع کی ہیں۔
ان کا کہنا ہے کہ معاہدے کے تحت دونوں ممالک باہمی تربیت، معلومات اور انٹیلی جنس کا تبادلہ کریں گے اس کے علاوہ دونوں ممالک کے درمیان سائنسی اور تکنیکی تعاون کو فروغ دیا جائے گا، پاکستان اور کویت مختلف شعبوں میں اہلکاروں اور تکنیکی ماہرین کا بھی تبادلہ کریں گے، تاہم یہ معاہدہ نیا نہیں ہے بلکہ کویت کی جانب سے آج اس کی تفصیلات شائع کی گئیں۔

Rawalpindi (Pothwar.com – Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi | July 31, 2026): Kuwait has officially approved the publication of details related to its defence cooperation agreement with Pakistan, according to reports. Journalist Waseem Abbasi, affiliated with Arab News, said in a post on X that Kuwait has formally endorsed the published details of the defence cooperation agreement signed with Pakistan in 2023. The agreement’s provisions have now been published in Kuwait’s Official Gazette.

Under the agreement, Pakistan and Kuwait will enhance cooperation through joint military training, the exchange of information and intelligence, and increased scientific and technical collaboration. The two countries will also facilitate the exchange of personnel and technical experts across various sectors.

The report noted that this is not a new agreement, as it was originally signed in 2023. The latest development marks Kuwait’s formal publication and official approval of the agreement’s details in its government gazette.
