Gujar Khan: Pakistan Armed Forces Pay Tribute to Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed on His 78th Martyrdom Anniversary

گوجرخان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 28 جولائی 2026ء) —چیف آف آرمی سٹاف و چیف آف ڈیفنس فورسز فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر، چیف آف دی نیول سٹاف ایڈمرل نوید اشرف اور چیف آف دی ایئرسٹاف ایئر چیف مارشل ظہیر احمد بابر سدھو نے مسلح افواجِ پاکستان کی جانب سے نشانِ حیدر کے پہلے اعزاز یافتہ تحصیل گوجرخان ضلع راولپنڈی کے ایک گاؤں سنگھوری کےکیپٹن محمد سرور شہید کی 78ویں برسی پر انہیں شاندار خراجِ عقیدت پیش کیا ہے۔
پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (آئی ایس پی آر )کے مطابق 27 جولائی 1948 کو پہلی کشمیر جنگ کے دوران آزاد کشمیر کے علاقے تلپترا میں کیپٹن محمد سرور شہید نے آزادیٔ کشمیر کے لیے لڑتے ہوئے جامِ شہادت نوش کیا۔ وہ دشمن کے خلاف اپنے جوانوں کی صفِ اول سے قیادت کرتے ہوئے بے مثال جرات، اعلیٰ عسکری حکمتِ عملی اور فرض شناسی کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے شہید ہوئے اور نشانِ حیدر حاصل کرنے والے پاکستان کے پہلے سپاہی بنے۔
سلح افواج نے اپنے پیغام میں کہا کہ کیپٹن محمد سرور شہید کی لازوال قربانی جرات، استقامت اور وطن سے بے لوث محبت کی ہمیشہ زندہ رہنے والی علامت ہے۔ قوم اور افواجِ پاکستان ان کی عظیم قربانی کو انتہائی احترام اور عقیدت کے ساتھ سلام پیش کرتی ہیں۔ کیپٹن محمد سرور شہید کی قربانی آج بھی موجودہ اور آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے فرض، عزت اور حب الوطنی کے اعلیٰ ترین اصولوں پر قائم رہنے کا سرچشمۂ تحریک ہے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com | July 28, 2026): Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Chief of the Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu have paid glowing tribute to Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed, the first recipient of Pakistan’s highest military honour, the Nishan-e-Haider, on the occasion of his 78th martyrdom anniversary.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed embraced martyrdom on July 27, 1948, during the First Kashmir War while fighting in the Talptra area of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. He led his troops from the front with exceptional courage, outstanding military leadership, and unwavering devotion to duty, ultimately sacrificing his life in the line of service. He became the first member of Pakistan’s armed forces to be awarded the Nishan-e-Haider.

In a joint message, the armed forces described Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed’s sacrifice as an enduring symbol of bravery, resilience, and selfless patriotism. They said the nation and the armed forces continue to honour his supreme sacrifice with profound respect and gratitude.

The statement further noted that Captain Muhammad Sarwar Shaheed’s legacy remains a lasting source of inspiration for both present and future generations, encouraging them to uphold the highest ideals of duty, honour, and love for the country.
