Rawat: Four Hotels Sealed in Murree Over Safety Violations

روات(پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی | 08 اپریل 2026ء)— ڈپٹی کمشنر مری آغا ظہیر عباس شیرازی کی ہدایات کی روشنی میں حفاظتی اقدامات نہ کرنے پر 4 ہوٹلوں کو سر بمہر کر دیا گیا۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق ضلعی انتظامیہ کی جانب سے جاری حفاظتی ایس او پیز پر عمل درآمد نہ کرنے پر 4 ہوٹلوں بشمول گیسٹ ہاؤس کو سر بمہر کر دیا گیا۔
سیاحوں کے تحفظ کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے ضلعی انتظامیہ کی جانب سے ہوٹلوں اور گیسٹ ہاؤس کے مالکان کو نہ صرف حفاظتی اقدامات یقینی بنانے کی ہدایت کی گئی تھی بلکہ اس حوالے سے انہیں آگاہی بھی فراہم کی گئی تھی۔
ڈی سی مری کی ہدایت پر حفاظتی ایس او پیز پر عمل درآمد نہ کرنے پر موو اینڈ پک ہوٹل، ہوٹل ہمدان، وڈ بیری ہوٹل اوراے ایم گیسٹ ہاؤس کو سر بمہر کر دیا گیا۔ ڈپٹی کمشنر مری آغا ظہیر عباس شیرازی نے اس حوالے سے کہا ہے کہ کسی کو انسانی زندگیوں سے کھیلنے کی اجازت نہیں دی جائے گی۔ حفاظتی اقدامات کرنے کی ہدایت سیاحوں کی حفاظت کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے کی گئی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس حوالے سے زیرو ٹالرنس پالیسی پر عمل کیا جا رہا ہے۔ حفاظتی ایس او پیز پر عمل درآمد لازمی ہے۔

Following directives from Deputy Commissioner Murree, Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi, the district administration has sealed four hotels for failing to implement mandatory safety measures.
According to details, strict action was taken against hotels and a guest house that did not comply with officially issued safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The move is part of a broader effort to ensure the safety and protection of tourists visiting Murree.
The sealed establishments include Move n Pick Hotel, Hotel Hamdan, Woodberry Hotel, and AM Guest House.
Authorities had previously instructed hotel and guest house owners to adopt comprehensive safety measures and had also conducted awareness sessions to guide them. Despite these efforts, non-compliance led to immediate sealing.
Deputy Commissioner Agha Zaheer Abbas Shirazi stated that no one will be allowed to endanger human lives. He emphasised that these safety directives are crucial for protecting tourists and confirmed that a zero-tolerance policy is being strictly enforced.
He further reiterated that adherence to safety SOPs is mandatory, and violations will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
