Rawat: Eid Day Murder Suspect Killed in Police Encounter

روات (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی، 31 مارچ 2026)—عید کے روز جائیداد کے تنازعے پر نوجوان مدثر کو قتل کرنے والا مرکزی ملزم ملک احسن جہلم میں پولیس مقابلے کے دوران ہلاک ہو گیا۔

پولیس ذرائع کے مطابق ملزم اپنے منطقی انجام کو اس وقت پہنچا جب پولیس اور ملزمان کے درمیان فائرنگ کے تبادلے کے دوران وہ اپنے ہی ساتھی کی گولی کا نشانہ بن گیا۔

یاد رہے کہ ملزم نے عیدالفطر کے روز نمازِ عید کے فوراً بعد مدثر کو فائرنگ کر کے قتل کر دیا تھا۔ اس واقعے کی ویڈیو سوشل میڈیا پر وائرل ہونے کے بعد عوام میں شدید غم و غصہ پایا گیا تھا۔

واقعے کا نوٹس لیتے ہوئے وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے کیس کو کرائم کنٹرول ڈیپارٹمنٹ (CCD) کے حوالے کرنے کے احکامات جاری کیے تھے۔

پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ کارروائی ملزمان کی گرفتاری کے لیے جاری آپریشن کا حصہ تھی، تاہم مقابلے کے دوران مرکزی ملزم ہلاک ہو گیا۔ مزید تفتیش جاری ہے اور دیگر ملزمان کی تلاش بھی کی جا رہی ہے۔

According to police sources, the accused, identified as Malik Ahsan, reached his end during an operation when he was allegedly hit by a bullet fired by his own accomplice during an exchange of fire with law enforcement agencies.

It is important to note that the accused had allegedly shot and killed Mudassar immediately after Eid prayers over a property dispute. The incident had sparked widespread outrage after a video of the murder went viral on social media, drawing strong reactions from the public.

Following the public outcry, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz took notice of the incident and ordered that the case be handed over to the Crime Control Department (CCD) for further investigation.
