کہو ٹہ: (نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم , عمران ضمیر ،26اگست2024)— راولپنڈی سے آزاد کشمیر جاتے ہوئے کوسٹر گراری پل دریائے جہلم کےنزدیک گہری کھائی میں جا گری۔ حادثے کے نتیجے میں تقریباََ 26مسافر موقع پرجانبحق ہوگئے۔ لواحقین کے گھروں میں، جائے وقوعہ اور تحصیل ہسپتا ل کہوٹہ میں کہرام مچ گیا۔ ایس ایچ او کہوٹہ سید ذکاء الحسن، ریسکیو 1122، پو ٹھوہار ویلفیئر ٹرسٹ اور دیگر امدادی ٹیمیں موقع پر پہنچ گئیں۔جبکہ تحصیل ہیڈکواٹر ہسپتال کہوٹہ میں ایم ایس کہوٹہ دڈاکٹر ثمینہ خان بھٹی نے اپنے عملہ اور پیرا میڈیکل سٹاف کے ہمراہ ہسپتال میں انتظامات ترتیب دیئے اور ایمرجنسی طور پر عملے کو الرٹ رکھا۔ تفصیلات کے مطابق راولپنڈی سے پلندری جاتے ہوئے بس آزاد پتن پل کے قریب تیز رفتاری کے باعث بے قابو ہو کر گہری کھائی میں جاگری،تیز رفتارری کی باعث ہولناک حادثہ پیش آیا۔ اطلاع ملتے ہی ریسکیو 1122، سول ڈیفینس، ٹریفک پولیس، پنجاب پولیس کہوٹہ، پوٹھوہار ویلفیئر ٹرسٹ کی ٹیمیں موقع پر پہنچی جاں بحق افراد اور زخمیوں کو THQ ہسپتال منتقل کیا گیا جبکہ اطلاعات کے مطابق 29 افراد جانبحق ہوئے جن میں مرد و خواتین اور بچے شامل ڈیڈ باڈیز اور زخمیوں کی امداد کے لیے مقامی افراد کی بڑی تعداد جبکہ اپنی سروسز دین کے لیے ڈاکٹر محمد عارف قریشی، صدر پوٹھوہار ویلفیئر ٹرسٹ ملک منیر اعوان، راجہ رفاقت، راجہ عمران ضمیر و دیگر نوجود تھے ایم ایس ڈاکٹر ثمینہ بھٹی اور انکے سٹاف نے بہترین اقدامات کیے جبکہ کمشنر پلندری، سی ٹی او راولپنڈی بھی موقع پر پہنچے صدر پاکستان اور وزیر اعلی پنجاب سمیت دیگر سیاسی سماجی، مذہبی، شخصیات نے حادثے پر افسوس کا اظہار کیا۔

Kahuta: (Pothwar.com, Imran Zamir, August 26, 2024) — A tragic accident occurred when a coaster travelling from Rawalpindi to Azad Kashmir veered off the road and plunged into a deep ravine near the Garari Bridge on the Jhelum River. The accident resulted in the immediate death of approximately 26 passengers. The incident has caused widespread grief among the families of the victims, as well as chaos at the scene and the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital in Kahuta.

Local authorities, including SHO Kahuta Syed Zaka Al-Hassan, Rescue 1122, Pothohar Welfare Trust, and other rescue teams, arrived promptly at the scene. Meanwhile, Dr. Samina Khan Bhatti, MS Kahuta, along with her staff and paramedics, organized emergency measures at the hospital, keeping the staff on high alert.

According to details, the bus was en route from Rawalpindi to Plandri when it lost control due to high speed and fell into the ravine near Azad Pattan Bridge. The horrific accident was attributed to the speeding vehicle. Upon receiving the report, Rescue 1122, Civil Defense, Traffic Police, Punjab Police Kahuta, and Pothohar Welfare Trust teams rushed to the scene to transport the deceased and injured to the THQ Hospital. Among the 26 fatalities were men, women, and children. A large number of local residents, along with volunteers, including Dr. Muhammad Arif Qureshi, Pothohar Welfare Trust President Malik Munir Awan, Raja Rafaqat, Raja Imran Zamir, and others, provided their services.

Dr. Samina Bhatti and her staff took exemplary actions, while the Commissioner of Plandri and CTO Rawalpindi also reached the site. The President of Pakistan, the Chief Minister of Punjab, and other political, social, and religious figures expressed their sorrow over the tragic incident.

کہو ٹہ: (نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم , عمران ضمیر ،26اگست2024)— کہوٹہ آزاد پتن اور کہوٹہ پنڈی روڈ کی خراب تر حالت سے آئے روز ٹریفک حادثات معمول بن گے۔ سابقہ اور موجودہ منتخب عوامی نمائندوں اور حکومتو ں کی نا اہلی اور عدم توجو کی وجہ سے عرصہ سات سالوں سے کہوٹہ سٹی بائی پاس اور کہوٹہ راولپنڈی روڈ کا کام انتہائی سست روی اور تاخیر کا شکا ر ہے۔ سات سالوں میں درجنوں حادثات میں کئی اموات اور متعدد مسافر زخمی ہونے کے باوجود مزکورہ سڑکوں کی تعمیر نہ صرف نا مکمل ہے بلکہ متاثرین کہوٹہ بائی پاس کو سات سولوں سے معاوضہ بھی نہ دیا گیا۔ سات سالوں سے مزکورہ سڑکوں پر این ایچ اے اور حکومتی ادارے کام کرارہے ہیں۔ سڑکیں ٹوٹ پھوٹ کا شکار ہیں۔وزیر اعظم شہباز شریف، وزیر اعلی پنجاب مریم نواز، کمشنر راولپنڈی اور ڈپٹی کمشنر راولپنڈی سے شہریوں نے فوری نوٹس لینے کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔

The ongoing negligence and lack of attention from both former and current elected representatives and governments have resulted in the Kahuta City Bypass and Kahuta-Rawalpindi Road projects being delayed for over seven years. Despite numerous accidents during this period, which have claimed several lives and injured many passengers, these critical road projects remain incomplete.

In addition to the unfinished roads, the affected residents of the Kahuta Bypass have yet to receive compensation for the land acquired for the project, even after seven years. The National Highway Authority (NHA) and other government agencies have been working at a slow pace, leaving the roads in a state of disrepair.

Concerned citizens have called upon Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, the Commissioner of Rawalpindi, and the Deputy Commissioner of Rawalpindi to take immediate notice of the situation and expedite the completion of these vital road projects.
