Kahuta: Traders in Kahuta Announce Complete Shutdown on August 28th in Protest Against Government Tax Policies

آل پاکستان انجمن تاجران کی کال پر کہوٹہ کی تاجر برادری نے 28اگست کو مکمل شٹر ڈاؤن ہڑتال کا اعلان کر دیا، کہوٹہ کے تاجر رہنماؤں نے کہوٹہ مین بازار، چھنی بازار، تحصیل چوک، تحصیل روڈ،کہوٹہ کلر چوک،کہوٹہ تھانہ روڈ، کہوٹہ پنڈی روڈ،کہوٹہ مٹور روڑ، کہوٹہ مچھلی چوک، کہوٹہ مٹور چوک، کہوٹہ پنجاڑ روڑ، کہوٹہ کوٹلی لنک روڈ،کہوٹہ پنجار چوک کے تاجروں کے پاس کے اور ان کو احتجاجی پفلنٹ بھی دیے اور ان سے کہا وہ اس احتجاج میں شامل ہو ں پر انہوں نے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا ہے کہ انشاء اللہ ہم تاجروں کو درپیش مسائل سے نمٹنے کے لیے ہمیں ایک چھتری کے نیچے آہیں اور ایک ہی پلیٹ فارم پر آ کر ہی ہم اپنے جائز مطالبات منوا سکتے ہیں انہوں نے حکومتی ٹیکس اسکیم کو تاجر دشمن قرار دیتے ہوئے 28 اگست کو مشترکہ مکمل شٹر ڈاؤ ن ہڑتال کا اعلان کردیااور کہا کہ حکومت تاجر دشمن ٹیکس اسکیم فوری طور پر واپس لے، پراپرٹی ویلیو پر اندازے سے انکم نکالنا خلاف قانون ہے اور اس کے علاوہ بھی انہون نے مطالبہ کیا کہ حکومت بجلی کے بلوں میں تمام قسم کے ٹیکسز ختم کرے اور بجلی اور گیس کی قیمتوں میں اضافہ اور ظالمانہ سلیبز ٹیکس واپس لیے جائیں۔

Kahuta (Pothwar.com, Kabir Ahmed Janjua, August 21, 2024) – In response to the call from the All Pakistan Traders Association, the traders of Kahuta have announced a complete shutter-down strike on August 28th. The decision was made after local trader leaders visited various key markets and areas in Kahuta, including the Main Bazaar, Chani Bazaar, Tehsil Chowk, and several major roads and intersections. During these visits, they distributed protest pamphlets, urging fellow traders to participate in the strike.

The trader leaders expressed their determination to unite under one platform to address the challenges faced by the business community. They condemned the government’s tax scheme as anti-business and demanded its immediate withdrawal.

Additionally, they called for the abolition of all taxes included in electricity bills and the reversal of recent increases in electricity and gas prices, as well as the removal of unjust tax slabs. The traders vowed to stand together to have their legitimate demands met.
