Oslo: Pakistan Union Norway Celebrates Independence Day with Enthusiasm in Oslo

اوسلو (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، عقیل قادر،17، اگست، 2024ء 11؍صفر المظفر 1446ھ) –پاکستان یونین ناروے گذشتہ تین دہائیوں سے اوسلو شہر میں یوم آزادی پاکستان کو جوش و خروش سے مناتی آ رہی ہے جس میں ہر سال بڑی تعداد میں خواتین و حضرات شرکت کرتے ہیں اور پاکستان سے اپنی محبتوں اور عقیدتوں کا اظہار کرتے ہیں۔ ہر سال کی طرح اس سال بھی یوم پاکستان کی ایک خوبصورت تقریب منعقد کی گئی جس میں خواتین و حضرات نے کثیر تعداد میں شرکت کی۔ تقریب میں سٹیٹ سیکریٹری برائے امور خارجہ Eivind Vad Petersson، سفیر پاکستان سعدیہ الطاف قاضی، ممبر قومی اسمبلی ریگ مور آسرود Rigmor Aasrud، ممبر قومی اسمبلی مدثر کپور، ممبر قومی اسمبلی عابد راجہ اور صدر کڈنی سینٹر گجرات میاں محمد اعجاز کے علاوہ کثیر تعداد میں پاکستان سے مہمانوں نے شرکت کی۔ تقریب کا آغاز علامہ محمد اسجد دھکڑ نے تلاوت قرآن پاک سے کیا اور عبدالمنان نے نعت رسول ﷺ پیش کی۔اس موقع پر ناروے اور پاکستان کا قومی ترانہ پیش کیا گیا۔ چوہدری قمر اقبال چیئر مین پاکستان یونین ناروے نے تمام مہمانوں کو یوم آزادی کی تقریب میں شرکت کرنے پر ویلکم کیا اور انکا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے اس موقع پر قائد اعظم محمد علی جناح کی قائدانہ صلاحتیوں اور ان کے مخلص ساتھیوں کی محنت کو زبردست خراج عقیدت پیش کیا۔ Eivind Vad Petersson نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ناروے کی ترقی میں پاکستانیوں کے کردار کی تعریف کی اور کہا کہ ناروے آج جس مقام پر کھڑا ہے وہ پاکستانیوں کی شرکت کے بغیر ممکن نہیں تھا۔ انہوں نے اس موقع پر ارشد ندیم کی طرف سے اولمپکس میں طلائی تمغہ جیتنے پر مبارکباد پیش کی۔ ریگ مور آسرود نے یوم آزادی پاکستان کی مبارکباد پیش کی اور ستر کی دہائی میں آنے والے پاکستانیوں کے کردار کو سراہا کہ کس طرح انہوں نے ایک نئے معاشرے میں خود کو ایڈجسٹ کیا اور ناروے کی معاشرتی اقدار کو اپنایا۔ سعدیہ الطاف قاضی نے نارویجن پاکستانیوں کی پاکستان سے حب الوطنی کو سراہا اور پاکستان اور ناروے کی دوستی کو مستحکم کرنے پر انہیں خراج تحسین پیش کیا۔ مدثر کپور نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے ناروے میں مقیم پاکستانی والدین اور باالخصوص پاکستانی ماؤں کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا اور کہا کہ ماؤں کے پختہ ارادوں اور کردار کی بدولت نارویجن پاکستان ہر شعبے میں اپنی خدمات سرانجام دے رہے ہیں۔عابد راجہ نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ انہیں فخر ہے کہ وہ نارویجن پاکستانی ہیں، انہوں نے کہا کہ آج سے دو سو سال قبل بہتر مستقبل کے لیے 8 لاکھ نارویجنز نے امریکہ ہجرت کی مگر وہ آج بھی ناروے کی اقدار کو نہیں بھولے اوروہ امریکہ میں ناروے کا یوم آزادی جوش و خروش سے مناتے ہیں۔ میاں محمد اعجاز نے چوہدری قمر اقبال، شیخ طارق محمود، چوہدری زاہد اسلم، میر ناصر اور دیگر کی کڈنی سینٹر گجرات کے لیے فنڈ ریزنگ کے لیے کی گئی کاوشوں کو سراہا۔ناروے میں مقیم پاکستانی صحافیوں عقیل قادر، چوہدری ارشد وحید اور ناصر اکبر کی خدمات کو سراہا گیا اور انہیں شلیڈ ز سے نوازا گیا۔ پروگرام کی نقابت کے فرائض معروف اینکر شاہ رخ اور صائقہ تبسم نے احسن انداز میں سر انجام دیئے۔ پروگرام کے آخر میں پاکستان کی معروف گلوکارہ نوراں لال نے اپنے فن کا شاندار مظاہرہ کیا۔

Oslo, Pothwar.com, Aqil Qadir, August 17, 2024) – For the past three decades, Pakistan Union Norway has been celebrating Pakistan’s Independence Day with great enthusiasm in Oslo, attracting a large number of participants every year. This year was no different, as the event saw significant attendance from both men and women, who expressed their love and devotion to Pakistan.

The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including State Secretary for Foreign Affairs Eivind Vad Petersson, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Norway Saadia Altaf Qazi, Norwegian MPs Rigmor Aasrud, Mudassar Kapur, and Abid Raja, as well as Mian Muhammad Ijaz, President of the Kidney Centre in Gujrat. Numerous other guests from Pakistan also attended the event.

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Allama Muhammad Asjad Dhakhar, followed by a Na’at by Abdul Mannan. Both the Norwegian and Pakistani national anthems were played on the occasion. Chaudhry Qamar Iqbal, Chairman of Pakistan Union Norway, warmly welcomed all the guests and expressed his gratitude for their participation in the Independence Day celebrations. He paid tribute to the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and the efforts of his dedicated colleagues.

In his speech, Eivind Vad Petersson praised the role of Pakistanis in Norway’s development, acknowledging that the country’s current standing would not have been possible without their contributions. He also congratulated Arshad Nadeem on winning a gold medal at the Olympics. Rigmor Aasrud extended her greetings on Pakistan’s Independence Day and lauded the Pakistani community of the 1970s for how they adjusted to a new society and embraced Norwegian values.

Ambassador Saadia Altaf Qazi commended the patriotism of Norwegian Pakistanis and their role in strengthening the friendship between Pakistan and Norway. Mudassar Kapur paid tribute to Pakistani parents, especially mothers, whose determination and efforts have enabled Norwegian Pakistanis to excel in various fields. Abid Raja expressed his pride in being a Norwegian Pakistani, drawing a parallel to the 800,000 Norwegians who migrated to America 200 years ago and still celebrate Norway’s Independence Day with zeal.

Mian Muhammad Ijaz acknowledged the efforts of Chaudhry Qamar Iqbal, Sheikh Tariq Mahmood, Chaudhry Zahid Aslam, Mir Nasir, and others in raising funds for the Kidney Centre Gujrat. The services of Pakistani journalists in Norway, including Aqeel Qadir, Chaudhry Arshad Waheed, and Nasir Akbar, were also recognized, and they were awarded shields.

The event was excellently hosted by renowned anchors Shah Rukh and Saika Tabassum. The program concluded with a stunning performance by famous Pakistani singer Nooran Laal.
