روات(نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم، اکرام الحق قریشی,13،دسمبر,2022)— نالہ لئی منصوبہ کی لاگت میں64ارب روپے کی کمی کے باوجود پنجاب حکومت تاحال منصوبہ پر کوئی پیش رفت نہیں کرسکی۔وفاقی و صوبائی حکومت کے درمیان جاری سیاسی کشیدگی کے باعث منصوبہ سرد خانے کا شکار ہوچکا ہے۔موجودہ وزیر اعلی ٰپنجاب چوہدری پرویز الہی کو منصب سنبھالتے ہی راولپنڈی کے میگا پراجیکٹس پر بریفنگ دی گئی تھی۔جس میں نالہ لئی فلڈ چینل اینڈایکسپریس وے کے بارے بتایا گیا کہ110بلین روپے خرچ ہوں گے۔جس پر فیصلہ کیا گیا تھا کہ منصوبہ کی لاگت کم کرکے40ارب روپے کی جائے تاکہ جلد کام شروع کیا جاسکے۔پہلے منصوبہ کیلئیلینڈ ایکوزیشن پر بھی25ارب روپیکا تخمینہ لگایا گیا تھا لیکن موجودہ حکومت نے فیصلہ کیا تھا کہ لاگت میں کمی کیلئے کوئی زمین ایکوائر نہیں جائے گی۔تاہم بعد میں وفاقی و صوبائی حکومتوں کے درمیان سرد تعلقات کے باعث منصوبہ بھی سرد خانے کا شکار ہوچکا ہے۔کیونکہ وفاقی حکومت کی طرف سے منصوبہ کیلئے مطلوبہ تعاون ہوتا نظر نہیں آرہا ہے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق سابقہ وفاقی دور حکومت میں طے شدہ فارمولا کے تحت وفاقی حکومت نے60فیصد جبکہ صوبائی حکومت نے40فیصد فنڈر فراہم کرنے تھے۔بعد میں حکومت کی تبدیلی کے بعد رواں مالی سال میں منصوبہ پر کوئی پیش رفت نہیں ہوئی ہے۔

The current Chief Minister of Punjab, Chaudhry Pervez Elahi, was given a briefing on the mega projects of Rawalpindi as soon as he assumed office. It was decided that the cost of the project should be reduced to 40 billion rupees so that the work can be started soon.
The first project was estimated at 25 billion rupees for land acquisition, but the current government decided that no land will be acquired to reduce the cost.
However, later due to the cold relations between the federal and provincial governments, the project has also become a victim of cold storage.
Because the federal government does not seem to have the required support for the project.
According to the sources, according to the formula decided in the previous federal government, the federal government had to provide 60 percent and the provincial government 40 percent.
