Rawat; Punjab govt should resolve land issue of Dadhocha Dam: Supreme Court
پنجاب حکومت ددھوچہ ڈیم کی زمین کا معاملہ حل کرے،سپریم کورٹ
روات(نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم ,اکرام الحق قریشی)— سپریم کورٹ نے ددھوچہ ڈیم کی تعمیر کیلئے اضافی زمین ایکوائر کرنے سے متعلق کیس کی سماعت غیر معینہ مدت تک ملتوی کر دی ۔ عدالت عظمی نے پنجاب حکومت کو مقامی افراد سے مل کر زمین کا معاملہ حل کرنے کی ہدایت کر دی۔ منگل کو جسٹس عمر عطا بندیال کی سربراہی میں تین رکنی بنچ نے ددھوچہ ڈیم کی تعمیر کیلئے اضافی زمین ایکوائر کرنے سے متعلق کیس پر سماعت کی۔ دوران سماعت ڈیم کیلئے زمین دینے والے مقامی افراد نے موقف اپنایا کہ پنجاب حکومت ڈیم کیلئے لی گئی زمین کا معاوضہ ادا نہیں کر رہی۔ دوران سماعت ایڈوکیٹ جنرل پنجاب نے موقف اپنایا کہ نئے نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق زمین ایکوائر کی گئی ،مقامی افراد کو زمین کی قیمت کے مطابق معاوضہ ادا کر رہے ہیں۔
Rawat; The Supreme Court has adjourned indefinitely the hearing of a case related to acquisition of additional land for construction of Dadhocha Dam. The apex court directed the Punjab government to resolve the land issue with the locals. On Tuesday, a three-member bench headed by Justice Umar Ata Bandial heard the case regarding acquisition of additional land for construction of Dadhocha Dam. During the hearing, the locals who donated land for the dam took the position that the Punjab government was not paying compensation for the land taken for the dam. During the hearing, Advocate General Punjab took the position that the land was acquired as per the new notification and the locals were being compensated according to the value of the land.
