بیول (نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام افتخار وارثی)—گزشتہ روز گورنر پنجاب جناب چو ہدری سرور سے گورنر ہاؤس لاہور میں گڈز ٹرانسپورٹرز اور تاجروں کی مشترکہ ملاقات اور مسائل پر تفصیلی گفتگو ہوئی۔ گڈز ٹرانسپوٹروں کی نما ئندگی چو ہدری محمد فیاض اختر، (RGFA راولپنڈی) نبیل محمود طا رق (PGTA لاہور) چو ہدری ثنا ئاللہ شا می (KGCA کراچی) لالہ احسان اللہ اور چو ہدری خالد (فیصل آباد) نے کی۔ تاجروں کی جانب سے میاں جاوید علی (صدر انجمن تاجران پنجاب) میاں تنویر ریاض (جنرل سیکریٹری انجمن تاجران پنجاب) میاں ایوب (ایوب ٹیکسٹائل) نصیر یو سف ووہرہ ،میاں گلزار، میاں سعید، چو ہدری محمد اکبر، شاہد اقبال اور فیصل آباد اور سرگودھا کے مختلف تاجر تنظیموں کے نمائندوں نے شرکت کی،چو ہدری محمد فیاض اختر نے گڈز ٹرانسپورٹیشن کے متعلقہ مسائل پر تفصیلی بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے کسٹم حکام کیطرف سے گڈز ٹرانسپورٹروں کے ساتھ ہونیوالی زیا دتیوں کی تفصیل بتائی، جس پر گورنر صاحب نے کہا کہ یہ بہت بڑی زیا دتی ہو رہی ہے دنیا میں کہیں بھی ایسا نہیں ہوتا کہ شا ہراہوں پر گا ڑیوں کو روک کر چیک کیا جا ئے، یہ آپ کے ساتھ زیا دتی ہے، انہوں نے کہا میں بہت جلد مرکز میں اس مسئلے کو پوائنٹ آؤٹ کروں گا۔ اس کے علا وہ شا ہراہوں پر ہونیوالی ڈکیتیوں اور F.I.R درج نہ ہونے کی تفصیل بھی بیان کی، مزید چو ہدری فیاض اختر نے تجویز دی کہ امپورٹر، گڈز ٹرانسپورٹر، وزارت داخلہ، وزارت مواصلات، وزارت خزانہ اور کسٹم حکام پر مشتمل ایک مشا ورتی کمیٹی بنا ئی جا ئے جو کہ امپورٹڈ گڈز کی ترسیل کیحوالے سے قانون سازی کرے، تاکہ اسمگلنگ اور انڈر انوا ئسنگ جیسے ناسور کو ختم کیا جا سکے، اور ہم گڈز ٹرانسپورٹر حکومت پاکستان کے ساتھ ہر قسم کے تعاون کے لئے ہمہ وقت تیار ہیں۔چوہدری ثنا ئاللہ شامی نے بریفنگ دیتے ہوئے ایکسل ویٹ کی بحالی، ڈرائیونگ لائسنس کے آسان اجرا اور قو می شا ہراہوں کو محفوظ بنانے اور ان کی مرمت پر زور دیا ۔چو ہدری فیاض نے مسائل پر مبنی تحریری دستاویز بھی گورنر صاحب کو پیش کی۔، اور گورنر صاحب نے ٹرانسپورٹروں کے مسائل کے جلد حل کی یقین دہانی کروائی۔
Gujar Khan; A joint meeting of goods transporters and traders was held with Governor Punjab Mr. Chaudhry Sarwar at Governor House Lahore yesterday. Goods Transporters were represented by Chaudhry Muhammad Fayyaz Akhtar, (RGFA Rawalpindi), Nabil Mahmood Tariq (PGTA Lahore), Chaudhry Sanaullah Shami (KGCA Karachi), Lala Ehsanullah and Chaudhry Khalid (Faisalabad). Mian Javed Ali (President Anjuman-e-Tajiran Punjab) Mian Tanveer Riaz (General Secretary Anjuman-e-Tajiran Punjab) Mian Ayub (Ayub Textile) Naseer Yusuf Vohra, Mian Gulzar, Mian Saeed, Chaudhry Muhammad Akbar, Shahid Iqbal and Faisalabad And representatives of various trade associations of Sargodha attended the meeting.
Chaudhry Muhammad Fayyaz Akhtar gave a detailed briefing on the issues related to the transportation of goods and gave details of the excesses committed by the customs authorities against the goods transporters. This is a huge increase. Nowhere in the world does it happen that vehicles are stopped and checked on highways.
He said, “I will point out this problem in the center very soon. He also gave details of the robberies and non-registration of FIRs on the highways. Further, Fayyaz Akhtar suggested that a consultation consisting of importers, goods transporters, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Communications, the Ministry of Finance and the Customs should be held. A committee should be formed to legislate on the delivery of imported goods, so as to eradicate the scourge of smuggling and under-invoicing, and we, the transporters of goods, are always ready for any kind of cooperation with the Government of Pakistan.
Giving a briefing, Chaudhry Sanaullah Shami emphasized on restoration of excel weight, easy issuance of driving license and safeguarding and repair of national highways. Chaudhry Fayyaz also presented a written document on the issues to the Governor And the Governor assured a speedy resolution of the problems of the transporters.
