Manchester; Police investigate as 250 people attend namaz e janaza at Jamia Ghosia masjid in Blackburn and Imam test positive as well for coronavirus

بلیک برن,  نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم۔محمد نصیر راجہ … بلیک برن کی مقامی مسجد میں جامعہ غوثیہ میں ایک نماز جنازہ میں اڑھائی سو کے قریب افراد نے شرکت کی جبکہ چار جولائی کے بعد سے صرف تیس افراد کے ایسے اجتماع کی اجازت ہے۔مگر جنازے میں شرکت کرنے والوں کے خیال میں اب اجتماعات کی اجازت تھی۔ سو کسی قسم کی سوشل ڈسٹنسنگ اور ہاتھوں کی صفائی یا ماسک کا خیال نہیں رکھا گیا تھا۔ جنازہ کی تقریب کے بعد سے امام مسجد کا کورونا ٹیسٹ بھی پازیٹو آیا اور پولیس نے مسجد کو تاحکم ثانی بند کر دیا۔ اور واقعہ کی تحقیقات کر رہی ہے۔ واضح رہے کہ کورونا وائرس ابھی تک پھیلنے کا خطرہ اسی طرح موجود ہے۔ اور جنازے کے اجتماعات میں صرف تیس افراد کی اجازت ہے۔مگر اس کے ساتھ ہی تمام حفاظتی تدابیر جیسا کہ ہاتھ دھونا، ماسک پہننا اور سوشل ڈسٹنسنگ بھی نہایت ہی ضروری ہے اس وقت تک جب تک کہ کسی قسم کی دوا یا ویکسین کی ایجاد نہیں کر لی جاتی۔

Manchester; Leaders at a Masjid in Blackburn say they are being investigated by police and health officials after “around 250 people” attended a funeral service.

The chairman of Jamia Ghosia masjid said they thought there were no restrictions on numbers if hygiene and distancing measures were in place.

The masjid committee said the imam had since “tested positive for Covid 19 and is recovering from the virus”.Since 4 July, a maximum of 30 people have been allowed at funerals.

Furthermore the masjid is under investigation by the police and public health for exceeding the number of people allowed to participate in a funeral, which is 30, and for failing to comply with the law.
“There is a possibility that other attendees may also have been infected at the Janazza prayers.”
