لوٹن: کارسے مشتبہ ڈیوائس ملنے پر گھر و کاروبار خالی کروا لئے گئے
لوٹن (نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈٖاٹ کوم) لوٹن میں گزشتہ روز ایک کار میں ایک مشتبہ ڈیوائس کی برآمد پر بری پارک کاروباری مرکز، جہاں پر اکثریت کشمیری، پاکستانی بزنسز واقع ہیں، کی قابل ذکر تعداد متاثر ہوئی، گھروں اور کاروباروں کو خالی کرایا گیا اور لوگوں کو اس علاقہ میں جانے سے احتیاط برتنے کا مشورہ دیا گیا۔ لوٹن نیشنل میڈیا کی توجہ کا مرکز بنا رہا۔ دو افراد کو پولیس نے حراست میں بھی لیا۔ تاہم بعد میں پولیس کے مطابق یہ ڈیوائس قابل استعمال نہیں تھی، تاہم اس واقعہ سے بری پارک کی روزمرہ کی سرگرمیاں باالخصوص جمعہ کے تناظر میں بہت متاثر ہوئیں
Luton; A suspicious device found in a car in Luton was deemed “not viable” by a bomb disposal team. Police were called to Brook Street at about 07:20 GMT to reports of concern for a man in a vehicle.
Officers found a suspicious device in the car in Dunstable Road and the explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) team was called, Bedfordshire Police said.
Two men have been arrested for explosives related offences.A second car was also checked for devices, police said.
The force said one man was arrested at the scene and a second man was arrested shortly afterwards in Brook Street, both on suspicion of offences committed under the explosives act.
