مانچسٹر کے علاقے راچڈیل کے مشہور زمانہ جنسی زیادتی کیس کے تین مرکزی پاکستانی نژاد برطانوی شہریوں کی برطانوی شہریت منسوخ کر دی گئی۔ عدالت کا کہنا ہے کہ عوام کی بہتری کے لیے ایسی سزائیں وقت کا تقاضا ہیں۔
واضح رہے کہ کم عمر بچیوں کے ساتھ جنسی زیادتی کیس میں راچڈیل سے جن نو افراد کو سزائیں ہوئی تھیں ان میں سے تین افراد پاکستان سے ازدواجی ویزہ کے تحت مائیگریٹ ہو کر آئے تھے۔ سینتالیس سالہ عبد العزیز، اڑتالیس سالہ عادل خان اور اڑتالیس سالہ عبد الروف نے عدالت کی جانب سے ڈی پورٹ کیے جانے کے فیصلے کو عدالت میں چیلنج کرتے ہوئے موقف اختیار کیا تھا کہ برطانیہ سے نکالے جانے کے بعد وہ اپنے بیوی بچوں کے ساتھ فیملی لائف نہیں گزار سکیں گے اور یہ بنیادی انسانی حقوق کی خلاف ورزی ہے مگر عدالت نے ان کے موقف کو رد کردیا اور کہا کہ عوام کی بہتری کے لیے ایسے فیصلے ضروری ہیں۔

Taxi drivers Abdul Aziz, 47, Adil Khan, 48, and Abdul Rauf, 48, were among nine men jailed over appalling crimes against girls in Greater Manchester in 2012.
The then home secretary Theresa May ruled in 2015 that all three men – who have dual British and Pakistani nationality – should have their names deleted from the roll of British citizens.The decision was a prelude to government plans to deport them to Pakistan upon their release from jail.
The trio, who all have British children, challenged the decision – claiming it violated their human right to family life.
But their campaign to stay British failed today when senior judges at the Court of Appeal ruled that stripping them of citizenship is ‘conducive to the public good’.
