لوٹن میں ایشیائی کمیونٹی کے دو گروپوں میں لڑائی کے دوران متعدد افراد زخمی ہوگئے ،7 افراد کو ہسپتال میں طبی امداد دی گئی ،جن میں سے ایک کی حالت نازک بتائی جاتی ہے، شہر کے سیکسن روڈ پر ہونے والی لڑائی پر پولیس کو اتوار کی شام 5 بجےطلب کیاگیا۔ بیڈفورڈ شائر فورس نے ٹوئٹر پر لکھا ہے کہ خنجر زنی سے زخمی ہونے والوں کی اطلاعات ہیں ،جائے وقوعہ کامحاصرہ کرلیاگیاہے اور عینی شاہدین سے تعاون کرنے اور گواہی دینے کو کہا گیا ہے ۔قریب رہنے والے ایک شخص نے بتایا کہ میں جانتاہوں کہ ایک شخص کو خنجر گھونپا گیا اور میرے خیال میں یہ گینگ کے ساتھ تعلقات کا نتیجہ ہے، 4 افراد کے درمیان شروع ہونے والی اس لڑائی میں بعض افراد شدید زخمی ہوئے ہیں ،ایشیائی کمیونٹی میں شدید لڑائی پر کمیونٹی میں تشویش کی لہر دوڑ گئی۔ پولیس نے گشت شروع کردیا ہے اور علاقے میں ہیلی کاپٹر سے نگرانی کے باعث سنسنی خیز صورت حال رہی، پولیس کے مطابق سیکسن روڈ اور بسکٹ روڈ پر پولیس نے حفاظتی اقدامات کیے ہیں اور علاقے میں پولیس موجود ہے۔ چیف سپرنٹنڈنٹ پولیس نے کہا ہے کہ وہ سمجھتے ہیں کہ کمیونٹی کو اس واقعے پر تشویش ہے تاہم وہ انہیں یقین دلاتے ہیں کہ پولیس اس واقعے کو سنجیدگی سے لے رہی ہے اور متعدد گرفتاریاں بھی عمل میں لائی گئی ہیں۔
Luton; Seven people have been taken to hospital with stab wounds following a massive street brawl broke out in Luton. Cops rushed to Saxon Road to reports of a large group fighting and some with stab wounds.
It was later confirmed that paramedics rushed seven people to hospital following the massive brawl.One of the victims is said to be in a critical condition, Bedfordshire Police said.
Video footage shared with the police on social media showed young men gesturing and jostling in the street.
There were no early indications that the brawl was politically motivated.
Bedforshire Police said: “We were called to Saxon Road in Luton after receiving reports of a large number of individuals fighting.
“Emergency services are at the scene and some people have been taken to hospital after reports of stab wounds.”
Shop owner Nazmul Islam said “I saw two people who had been wounded.”Some ambulances came and they were treated.”Both of them were boys, about 18-20 years old.”I saw that they were bleeding.”Cops and the local council held a meeting in May to discuss the “shocking rise of violence” in the area, following a number of murders.
