Gujar Khan; Father of Avocate Arsalan Amjad Mirza shot dead in Dhok Gaar

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 27 اکتوبر 2026) — ڈاٹ کام، 27 اکتوبر 2026) گوجر خان شہر کے قریب ڈھوک گاڑ، سرور شہید کالج کے نزدیک نامعلوم ملزم نے فائرنگ کرکے بزرگ شہری امجد حسین ولد محمد حسین کو قتل کر دیا۔ مقتول ایڈووکیٹ ارسلان امجد مرزا کے والد تھے۔ واقعے کی اطلاع ملتے ہی علاقے میں تشویش کی لہر دوڑ گئی جبکہ وکلاء برادری میں بھی شدید غم و غصہ پایا جاتا ہے۔

پولیس حکام کے مطابق امجد حسین اپنے مال مویشی چرانے کے لیے قریبی جنگل گئے تھے۔ جب وہ دوپہر تک گھر واپس نہ پہنچے تو اہل خانہ کو تشویش لاحق ہوئی اور انہوں نے ان کی تلاش شروع کر دی۔ تلاش کے دوران جنگل سے ان کی لاش برآمد ہوئی، جس کے بعد پولیس کو اطلاع دی گئی۔

ابتدائی معلومات کے مطابق مقتول کی کلہاڑی بھی لاش کے قریب پڑی ہوئی تھی، جبکہ جائے وقوعہ سے پسٹل کا ایک خول بھی ملا ہے۔ تاہم فوری طور پر قتل کی وجوہات معلوم نہیں ہو سکیں اور یہ واضح نہیں ہو سکا کہ واقعہ کن حالات میں پیش آیا۔

اطلاع ملنے پر انچارج ہیومن انویسٹی گیشن یونٹ (ایچ آئی یو) انسپکٹر قاضی اظہر حسین پولیس نفری کے ہمراہ جائے وقوعہ پر پہنچ گئے۔ پولیس نے موقع سے شواہد اکٹھے کیے اور واقعے کی تحقیقات شروع کرتے ہوئے قانونی کارروائی کا آغاز کر دیا۔ مقتول کی لاش پوسٹ مارٹم کے لیے تحصیل ہیڈکوارٹر ہسپتال گوجر خان منتقل کر دی گئی، جہاں پوسٹ مارٹم کے ذریعے موت کی وجوہات کے تعین میں مدد ملے گی۔

واقعے کی خبر پھیلتے ہی وکلاء کی بڑی تعداد سول ہسپتال پہنچ گئی اور مقتول کے اہل خانہ سے اظہارِ یکجہتی کیا۔ مقتول ایڈووکیٹ ارسلان امجد مرزا کے والد تھے، جس کے باعث مقامی وکلاء برادری میں اس افسوسناک واقعے پر شدید رنج و غم اور غم و غصہ پایا جاتا ہے۔

اس موقع پر بار ایسوسی ایشن گوجر خان کے جنرل سیکرٹری سید نوشیر حیدر امداد نے واقعے پر شدید ردعمل کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے قتل کے خلاف تین روزہ ہڑتال کا اعلان کر دیا۔ ان کے اعلان کے بعد وکلاء برادری کی جانب سے واقعے پر احتجاج اور مقتول کے خاندان سے اظہارِ یکجہتی کا اظہار کیا گیا۔

پولیس حکام کے مطابق قتل کے محرکات تاحال سامنے نہیں آ سکے۔ تفتیشی ٹیم شواہد کا جائزہ لے رہی ہے تاکہ ملزم کی شناخت اور واقعے کی اصل وجوہات کا تعین کیا جا سکے۔ پولیس کی جانب سے مزید قانونی کارروائی جاری ہے۔

اس افسوسناک واقعے نے علاقے کے شہریوں میں تشویش پیدا کر دی ہے۔ اہل خانہ اور وکلاء برادری نے توقع ظاہر کی ہے کہ واقعے کی شفاف تحقیقات کے ذریعے ذمہ دار ملزم کا سراغ لگایا جائے گا اور اسے قانون کے کٹہرے میں لایا جائے گا۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, October 27, 2026 —An elderly man was shot dead by an unidentified assailant near Dhok Gaar, close to Sarwar Shaheed College on the outskirts of Gujar Khan, police said. The deceased was identified as Amjad Hussain, son of Muhammad Hussain, and the father of Advocate Arsalan Amjad Mirza.

According to police officials, Amjad Hussain had gone to a nearby forest to graze his livestock. When he failed to return home by midday, his family members became concerned and launched a search for him. During the search, they discovered his body lying in the forest.

A preliminary examination of the scene revealed that the victim’s axe was lying nearby, while a spent pistol cartridge was also recovered from the crime scene. The circumstances surrounding the killing remain unclear, and the motive behind the murder has yet to be established.

Upon receiving information about the incident, Inspector Qazi Azhar Hussain, in-charge of the Homicide Investigation Unit (HIU), reached the scene along with a police contingent. The police secured the area, collected evidence and initiated legal proceedings to investigate the murder.

The body was subsequently shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital in Gujar Khan for a post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death and assist the ongoing investigation.

The killing sent shockwaves through the local legal community. Following news of the incident, a large number of lawyers rushed to the Civil Hospital to express solidarity with the bereaved family and seek justice for their colleague’s father.

Expressing strong indignation over the tragic incident, Gujar Khan Bar Association General Secretary Syed Nousher Haider Imdad announced a three-day strike in protest against the killing. The announcement reflected the legal community’s serious concern over the incident and its demand for justice.

Police have launched an investigation into the case and are examining the available evidence to identify the perpetrator and establish the circumstances leading to the murder. However, no motive has been determined so far, and further developments are awaited.

The incident has raised serious concerns among local residents, while the bereaved family and members of the legal fraternity await progress in the investigation and the identification and arrest of those responsible.

نمازِ جنازہ آج بروز منگل، دوپہر 12:30 بجے ادا کی جائے گی۔ مرحوم کی نمازِ جنازہ ڈھوک سردار، نزد رنجالی، تحصیل گوجرخان میں ادا کی جائے گی، جس میں اہلِ خانہ، عزیز و اقارب، دوست احباب اور اہلِ علاقہ کی شرکت متوقع ہے۔
