راولپنڈی (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی |04 اکتوبر 2026)—کمشنر راولپنڈی ڈویژن سلمان غنی نے رنگ روڈ راولپنڈی کا سائٹ وزٹ کیا اور منصوبے پر ہونے والی پیش رفت کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا۔ اس موقع پر ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر آر ڈی اے، ڈپٹی پراجیکٹ ڈائریکٹر ،ایف ڈبلیو حکام و دیگر متعلقہ افسران بھی ان کے ہمراہ تھے۔کمشنر سلمان غنی نے ہدایت کی کہ زیادہ سے زیادہ وسائل متحرک کرتے ہوئے منصوبے کے تمام باقی ماندہ کام ترجیحی بنیادوں پر مکمل کیے جائیں۔
انہوں نے ٹول پلازوں اور ویئنگ سٹیشنز کے سول ورکس فوری طور پر شروع کرنے، ٹول آپریشنز کے لیے ضروری ہارڈویئر اور سافٹ ویئر کی بروقت خریداری یقینی بنانے کی ہدایت کی۔ کمشنر نے مزید کہا کہ رنگ روڈ پر روڈ سائن ایج کو بہتر بنایا جائے تاکہ مسافروں کو راستوں، انٹرچینجز اور ضروری معلومات کے حوالے سے واضح رہنمائی مل سکے اور سفر کو محفوظ بنایا جا سکے۔کمشنر راولپنڈی ڈویژن نے ہدایت کی کہ ٹھلیاں انٹرچینج کا تفصیلی ورک پلان فوری طور پر پیش کیا جائے اور انٹرچینج پر کام کے آغاز کی تیاریوں کو تیز کیا جائے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس انٹرچینج کی بروقت تکمیل سے ٹریفک کی روانی میں بہتری آئے گی، اس لیے متعلقہ امور کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر مکمل کیا جائے۔ کمشنر نے منصوبے کی مسلسل مانیٹرنگ، تعمیراتی معیار کی پابندی اور تمام متعلقہ کام مقررہ ٹائم لائن کے مطابق مکمل کرنے کی ہدایت کی۔
سلمان غنی نے کہا کہ راولپنڈی شہر کے لئے گیم چینجر ثابت ہونے والا یہ منصوبہ تکمیل کے مراحل میں داخل ہو چکا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ رنگ روڈ صرف ایک سڑک کا منصوبہ نہیں بلکہ راولپنڈی کی مستقبل کی شہری اور معاشی ترقی کا جامع منصوبہ ہے۔ رنگ روڈ کے ساتھ منصوبہ ’’اکنامک زونز‘‘روزگار کے نئے مواقع، کاروباری سرگرمیوں اور صنعتی و تجارتی ترقی کو فروغ دیں گے۔

Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Salman Ghani visited the Rawalpindi Ring Road project site and reviewed the progress of ongoing development work in detail.
Additional Director RDA, Deputy Project Director, officials of Frontier Works Organization (FWO), and other relevant officers accompanied the commissioner during the site visit.
Commissioner Salman Ghani directed the concerned authorities to mobilize maximum available resources and complete all remaining works on a priority basis. He also instructed officials to immediately initiate civil works for toll plazas and weighing stations and ensure the timely procurement of the hardware and software required for toll operations.
The commissioner further directed that road signage along the Ring Road be improved to provide motorists with clear information about routes, interchanges and other essential facilities, helping ensure safer and smoother travel.
Salman Ghani also instructed the concerned authorities to submit a detailed work plan for the Thallian Interchange without delay and accelerate preparations for commencement of construction work there. He said the timely completion of the interchange would help improve traffic flow and therefore all related tasks should be completed on a priority basis.
He emphasized continuous monitoring of the project, adherence to construction quality standards and completion of all related works according to the निर्धारित timelines.
Commissioner Salman Ghani described the Rawalpindi Ring Road as a potentially transformative project for the city and said it had entered its completion phase. He noted that the Ring Road was not merely a road infrastructure project but a broader initiative aimed at supporting Rawalpindi’s future urban and economic development.
He added that the economic zones planned alongside the Ring Road were expected to create new employment opportunities, encourage business activity and support industrial and commercial growth in the region.
