Rawalpindi; PTI Leader Ejaz Satti Dies During Police Operation

راولپنڈی (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام- اکرام الحق قریشی – 18 ستمبر 2026ء)– راولپنڈی سے پاکستان تحریک انصاف (پی ٹی آئی) کے سینئر اور بزرگ رہنما اعجاز ستی مبینہ پولیس حراست کے دوران پراسرار طور پر جاں بحق ہوگئے۔ سماجی رابطے کی ویب سائٹ ایکس پر صحافی محمد عمیر کی جانب سے شیئر کی گئی اطلاع کے مطابق راولپنڈی پولیس نے پی ٹی آئی کے بزرگ رہنماء اعجاز ستی کو دن تین بجے ان کی رہائش گاہ سے حراست میں لیا تھا، تاہم گرفتاری کے بمشکل آدھے گھنٹے بعد ہی پولیس کی جانب سے ان کے ورثاء کو اچانک ہسپتال پہنچنے کی اطلاع دی گئی۔
بتایا گیا ہے کہ ورثاء جب پریشانی کی عالم میں ہسپتال پہنچے تو وہاں اعجاز ستی کی میت موجود تھی، جس سے ظاہر ہوتا ہے کہ وہ حراست میں ہی دم توڑ چکے تھے، اہل خانہ نے الزام عائد کیا ہے کہ بزرگ رہنماء کو حراست کے دوران تشدد یا ذہنی و جسمانی صدمے کا نشانہ بنایا گیا جس کے باعث ان کی فوری موت واقع ہوئی، اہل خانہ اور پی ٹی آئی رہنماؤں نے واقعے کی فوری اعلیٰ سطح پر جوڈیشل انکوائری کا مطالبہ کیا ہے۔
پاکستان تحریک انصاف کا اس واقعے پر کہنا ہے کہ ریاست کی جانب سے ایک اور درندگی کا مظاہرہ کیا گیا اور یہ واقعہ 27 ستمبر کے لانگ مارچ سے خوفزدہ حکومتی مشینری کے سیاسی انتقام کا کھلا مظاہرہ ہے، جہاں پاکستان تحریک انصاف کے سینئر رہنما اعجاز ستی صاحب کو ان کے گھر سے بالکل تندرست اور فعال حالت میں اٹھایا گیا اور محض آدھے گھنٹے بعد ان کی لاش ہسپتال پہنچا دی گئی، 27 ستمبر کا لانگ مارچ روکنے کیلئے پرامن سیاسی ورکرز پر یہ مظالم ہرگز برداشت نہیں کیے جائیں گے۔
پارٹی ترجمان کا کہنا ہے کہ سوشل میدیا پر موجودہ ویڈیو میں ان کے صاحبزادے کو ہسپتال کے عملے اور انتظامیہ سے سی سی ٹی وی فوٹیج کا مطالبہ کرتے ہوئے دیکھا جا سکتا ہے تاکہ اس حراستی قتل کا اصل سچ اور حقائق سامنے آ سکیں، ایک بھلے چنگے انسان کا پولیس حراست کے چند منٹوں کے اندر یوں دم توڑ جانا قدرتی موت ہرگز نہیں بلکہ بدترین تشدد اور فاشزم کا نتیجہ ہے، اعجاز ستی کی اس حراستی موت کی فوری شفاف تحقیقات کی جائیں اور ذمہ داران کا محاسبہ کیا جائے۔

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ejaz Satti has died after being detained during a police operation at his residence in Rawalpindi, with conflicting accounts emerging over the circumstances of his death. PTI and family members have called for an immediate and transparent investigation into the incident.

According to information attributed to journalist Muhammad Umair and cited by multiple Pakistani media outlets, Rawalpindi Police took Satti into custody from his home at around 3pm. His family was reportedly asked to reach a hospital approximately half an hour later, where they found his body.

Other reports have presented a different account of the circumstances. Sources cited by Dunya News and Suno News reported that Satti was being taken away in a police vehicle when his health suddenly deteriorated and he allegedly suffered a cardiac arrest.
