Gujar Khan: Anti-Corruption Team Arrests Jatli Police Sub-Inspector Over Alleged Rs20,000 Bribe

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 17 ستمبر 2026): راولپنڈی میں اینٹی کرپشن ٹیم نے کارروائی کرتے ہوئے مبینہ طور پر 20 ہزار روپے رشوت وصول کرنے والے پولیس سب انسپکٹر کو گرفتار کر لیا۔

ذرائع کے مطابق کارروائی تھانہ جاتلی کی حدود میں واقع چوکی دولتالہ میں عمل میں لائی گئی، جہاں اینٹی کرپشن حکام نے مبینہ طور پر رشوت وصول کرتے ہوئے سب انسپکٹر اشرف کو حراست میں لے لیا۔

ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ اینٹی کرپشن حکام کو اطلاع موصول ہوئی تھی کہ پولیس اہلکار کی جانب سے ایک شہری سے مبینہ طور پر غیر قانونی رقم طلب کی گئی ہے۔ اطلاع کی بنیاد پر اینٹی کرپشن ٹیم نے کارروائی کی اور سب انسپکٹر اشرف کو مبینہ طور پر 20 ہزار روپے رشوت وصول کرتے ہوئے گرفتار کر لیا۔

کارروائی کے دوران مبینہ رشوت کی رقم بھی برآمد کر لی گئی، جس کے بعد گرفتار پولیس افسر کو مزید تفتیش کے لیے حراست میں لے لیا گیا۔

اینٹی کرپشن حکام کے مطابق واقعے کے حوالے سے قانونی کارروائی شروع کر دی گئی ہے، جبکہ مزید تحقیقات جاری ہیں۔ تفتیش کے دوران یہ بھی معلوم کرنے کی کوشش کی جا رہی ہے کہ مبینہ رشوت کے معاملے میں کوئی اور شخص ملوث تھا یا نہیں۔

حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ سرکاری فرائض کی انجام دہی کے دوران مبینہ طور پر بدعنوانی یا رشوت ستانی میں ملوث اہلکاروں کے خلاف قانون کے مطابق کارروائی کی جائے گی۔ کیس میں مزید پیش رفت تحقیقات مکمل ہونے کے بعد سامنے آنے کا امکان ہے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, September 17, 2026):  An Anti-Corruption team in Rawalpindi has reportedly arrested a police sub-inspector while allegedly receiving a bribe of Rs20,000 from a citizen.

According to sources, the action was carried out at the Daultala Police Post, which falls under the jurisdiction of Jatli Police Station in Rawalpindi. The arrested official was identified as Sub-Inspector Ashraf.

Sources said the Anti-Corruption authorities conducted the operation after receiving information regarding the alleged demand and acceptance of illegal gratification. During the operation, the team allegedly caught the sub-inspector while receiving Rs20,000 in bribe money.

The Anti-Corruption officials reportedly recovered the alleged bribe amount from the police official and took him into custody for further investigation.

Following the arrest, the authorities initiated legal proceedings against the accused police officer. Further investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the alleged bribe and whether any other individuals were involved in the matter.

Officials have reiterated that action against public servants allegedly involved in corrupt practices will be taken in accordance with the law. The case is expected to proceed through the relevant legal process following completion of the investigation.
