Rawalpindi: Major General Faisal Naseer Appointed NACTA National Coordinator

راولپنڈی/لندن (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — محمد نصیر راجہ |07 ستمبر 2026)— وفاقی حکومت پاکستان نے پاک فوج کے میجر جنرل فیصل نصیر، ہلالِ امتیاز (ملٹری) اور تمغۂ بسالت و بار کو نیشنل کاؤنٹر ٹیررازم اتھارٹی (نیکٹا) کا نیشنل کوآرڈینیٹر مقرر کر دیا ہے۔ اس اہم تقرری کو ملک کے انسدادِ دہشت گردی کے نظام کے حوالے سے ایک اہم پیش رفت قرار دیا جا رہا ہے۔

اسٹیبلشمنٹ ڈویژن نے میجر جنرل فیصل نصیر کی تقرری کا باقاعدہ نوٹیفکیشن 4 ستمبر 2026 کو جاری کیا۔ انہیں نیشنل کوآرڈینیٹر نیکٹا کے عہدے پر تین سال کی مدت کے لیے مقرر کیا گیا ہے۔

میجر جنرل فیصل نصیر اس سے قبل پاکستان کے اہم ترین انٹیلی جنس ادارے انٹر سروسز انٹیلی جنس (آئی ایس آئی) کے ڈائریکٹر جنرل (سی) کے طور پر خدمات انجام دے چکے ہیں۔ فراہم کردہ معلومات کے مطابق انہوں نے 2022 سے ستمبر 2026 تک تقریباً چار سال اس اہم ذمہ داری پر فرائض سرانجام دیے۔

نیشنل کاؤنٹر ٹیررازم اتھارٹی ملک میں انسدادِ دہشت گردی کی حکمتِ عملی میں مختلف اداروں کے درمیان رابطہ اور تعاون بڑھانے میں اہم کردار ادا کرتی ہے۔ ایسے وقت میں ایک تجربہ کار فوجی و انٹیلی جنس افسر کو نیکٹا کی اہم ذمہ داری سونپا جانا قومی سلامتی کے تناظر میں خاص اہمیت رکھتا ہے۔

میجر جنرل فیصل نصیر کو انسدادِ دہشت گردی آپریشنز اور قومی سلامتی کے امور میں وسیع تجربہ رکھنے والا ایک سینئر اور تجربہ کار افسر قرار دیا جاتا ہے۔ ان کا انٹیلی جنس، آپریشنل امور اور انسدادِ دہشت گردی کے طریقۂ کار سے گہرا تجربہ ان کی نئی ذمہ داری میں معاون ثابت ہونے کی توقع ہے۔

میجر جنرل فیصل نصیر کی نیکٹا میں تقرری اس امر کی بھی عکاسی کرتی ہے کہ متعلقہ تجربے، پیشہ ورانہ مہارت اور ثابت شدہ صلاحیت رکھنے والے افسران کو اہم قومی ذمہ داریاں سونپی جا رہی ہیں۔ ان کی نئی ذمہ داری سے توقع کی جا رہی ہے کہ وہ اپنے انٹیلی جنس اور آپریشنل تجربے کو ملک کے وسیع تر انسدادِ دہشت گردی نظام کو مزید مؤثر بنانے کے لیے بروئے کار لائیں گے۔
