کلر سیداں (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی |02 ستمبر 2026)—ٹکال کے چار بلاک چوآخالصہ سے الگ کرکے سموٹ سے منسلک کرنے پر رٹ لاہور ہائی کورٹ راولپنڈی بنچ میں دائر،ٹکال کے ارشد محمود نے الیکشن کمیشن سمیت متعدد فریقین کے خلاف درخواست دی کہ ٹکال روزاول سے یوسی چوآخالصہ کا حصہ تھا اس بار الیکشن کمیشن نے حتمی حلقہ بندیوں میں ٹکال کے چار بلاکس کو چوآخالصہ سے الگ کرکے سموٹ میں شامل کردیا گیا جو زیادتی ہے جسٹس چوہدری سلطان محمود نے درخواست کی ابتدائی سماعت کے لیئے فریقین کو آج بروز بدھ طلب کر لیا جہاں معروف سینئر قانون دان سید کلب حسن شاہ ایڈووکیٹ کی سربراہی میں راجہ عمیر حسین کیانی،شاہد محمود سنگرال اور راجہ سمیر حسین درخواست کے حق میں دلائل دیں گے۔

Kallar Syedan (Pothwar.com — Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, September 02, 2026): A petition has been filed before the Rawalpindi Bench of the Lahore High Court challenging the Election Commission’s decision to detach four blocks of Takal from Union Council Choa Khalsa and include them in Smot in the final delimitation.

Arshad Mahmood of Takal has filed the petition against the Election Commission and several other respondents, arguing that Takal has historically been part of Union Council Choa Khalsa since its inception.

According to the petitioner, the Election Commission, in the recently finalized delimitations, separated four blocks of Takal from Choa Khalsa and incorporated them into Smot. He termed the decision unjust and contrary to the longstanding administrative arrangement of the area.

Justice Chaudhry Sultan Mahmood has summoned the respondents for the preliminary hearing of the petition today, Wednesday.

A legal team headed by senior lawyer Syed Kalb Hassan Shah, Advocate, along with Raja Umair Hussain Kiani, Shahid Mahmood Singral, and Raja Sameer Hussain, will present arguments in support of the petition.
