Rawat: Robbers Open Fire on Police

روات (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی |14اگست 2026)—)تھانہ روات کے علاقہ میں 2 موٹر سائیکلوں پر سوار 4 ڈاکؤوں کی پولیس پارٹی پر فائرنگ، فائرنگ کے دوران بین الاضلاعی ڈکیت گینگ کا ایک رکن زخمی حالت میں گرفتار ، ساتھی فرار، اسلحہ برآمد، زخمی ڈاکو کی شناخت سلیم کے نام سے ہوئی ہے،جو قبل ازیں ڈکیتی و دیگر مقدمات میں ملوث و ریکارڈ یافتہ ہے،پولیس نے موٹرسائیکل سواروں کو رکنے کا اشارہ کیا تو ملزمان نے فائرنگ شروع کر دی،واقعہ کی اطلاع پر سینئر پولیس افسران موقعہ پر پہنچ گئے،
زخمی ملزم کو ہسپتال منتقل کیا گیا ہے، فرار ملزمان کی گرفتاری کے لیے سرچنگ جاری جاری ہے فائرنگ کے باوجود بہادری سے مقابلہ کرتے ہوئے ڈاکو کی گرفتاری پر سی پی او حسن مشتاق سکھیرا کی ایس پی صدر، اے ایس پی صدر اور روات پولیس ٹیم کو شاباش دی اور کہا کہ
شہریوں کی جان و مال اور پولیس پر حملہ کرنے والے قانون کی گرفت سے نہیں بچ سکتے۔

Rawat (Pothwar.com — Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, August 14, 2026): Four suspected robbers riding two motorcycles opened fire on a police party in the Rawat area, according to police. During the exchange of fire, one member of an alleged inter-district robbery gang was injured and arrested, while his accomplices managed to escape.

Police identified the injured suspect as Saleem, who is reportedly a known and previously record-holder in robbery and other criminal cases. Police said that when officers signalled the motorcycle riders to stop, the suspects opened fire on the police party.

Senior police officers reached the scene after being informed of the incident. The injured suspect was shifted to a hospital for medical treatment, while police teams continued searching for the escaped suspects.

CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera praised the SP Saddar, ASP Saddar and Rawat police team for their bravery in confronting the armed suspects and successfully arresting the injured gang member.

The CPO said that individuals who endanger the lives and property of citizens or attack police officers would not be able to escape the law. Further efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining suspects.
