Gujar Khan: Prisoner Escapes from Mandra: Three Police Officials Arrested, Associate Held

گوجرخان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 14 اگست 2026):مندرہ کے علاقے سے ایک قیدی کے فرار ہونے کے معاملے میں راولپنڈی پولیس نے کارروائی کرتے ہوئے قیدی کی فرار کی مبینہ سازش میں شامل تین پولیس اہلکاروں کو گرفتار کر لیا۔ یہ کارروائی سی پی او راولپنڈی حسن مشتاق سکھیر کے احکامات پر عمل میں لائی گئی۔

گرفتار ہونے والے پولیس اہلکاروں میں اے ایس آئی توقیر حسین، ہیڈ کانسٹیبل محبوب خان اور کانسٹیبل قاسم شامل ہیں۔ پولیس کے مطابق واقعے کا مقدمہ تھانہ مندرہ میں دہشت گردی، مجرمانہ سازش، اقدام قتل، پولیس سے مزاحمت سمیت دیگر دفعات کے تحت درج کر لیا گیا ہے۔

پولیس کے مطابق قیدی حماد کو جہلم جیل سے راولپنڈی کی عدالت میں پیشی کے لیے لایا گیا تھا۔ عدالت سے واپسی کے دوران قیدی کے فرار کا واقعہ پیش آیا۔ ابتدائی تفتیش کے مطابق پولیس اہلکاروں اور قیدی کے ساتھیوں نے مبینہ طور پر پہلے سے منصوبہ بندی کرتے ہوئے قیدی حماد کو ایک نجی گاڑی میں منتقل کیا۔

اطلاع ملنے پر مندرہ پولیس نے مشتبہ افراد کو روکنے کی کوشش کی، تاہم پولیس کے مطابق فرار ہونے والے قیدی حماد اور اس کے ساتھیوں نے پولیس پارٹی پر فائرنگ کر دی۔ پولیس نے جوابی کارروائی اور تعاقب کے دوران قیدی کے ایک ساتھی دانیال کو گرفتار کر لیا، جس کے قبضے سے کلاشنکوف برآمد ہونے کا بھی پولیس نے دعویٰ کیا ہے۔

پولیس حکام کے مطابق فرار ہونے والے قیدی حماد کی گرفتاری کے لیے علاقے میں سرچ آپریشن جاری ہے، جبکہ پولیس کی مختلف ٹیمیں متعدد مقامات پر چھاپے مار رہی ہیں۔ قانون نافذ کرنے والے ادارے قیدی اور اس کے دیگر ساتھیوں کی گرفتاری کے لیے تمام ممکنہ وسائل بروئے کار لا رہے ہیں۔

پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ فرار ہونے والا قیدی حماد سنگین نوعیت کے مختلف مقدمات میں ریکارڈ یافتہ ہے۔ حکام نے واضح کیا ہے کہ حماد اور اس کے ساتھیوں کو گرفتار کرکے قانون کے کٹہرے میں لایا جائے گا اور واقعے میں ملوث دیگر افراد کے خلاف بھی کارروائی کی جائے گی۔

سی پی او حسن مشتاق سکھیر نے کہا ہے کہ جرائم پیشہ عناصر کی معاونت یا پشت پناہی کسی صورت برداشت نہیں کی جائے گی۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ واقعے میں پولیس اہلکاروں کے مبینہ کردار کی تحقیقات اور ذمہ داروں کے خلاف قانونی کارروائی جاری ہے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com | 14 August, 2026): Three police officials have been arrested for their alleged involvement in a conspiracy to facilitate the escape of a prisoner from the Mandra area, following orders issued by Rawalpindi City Police Officer Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera.

The arrested officials have been identified as ASI Tauqeer Hussain, Head Constable Mehboob Khan and Constable Qasim. Police said a case has been registered at Mandrah Police Station under provisions relating to terrorism, criminal conspiracy, attempted murder, resistance against police and other relevant offences.

According to police, prisoner Hamad had been brought from Jhelum Jail to a court in Rawalpindi for a hearing. The incident occurred while he was being taken back after the court proceedings.

Police said preliminary investigations indicated that the prisoner was allegedly shifted into a private vehicle as part of a pre-planned escape involving certain police officials and his associates.

When Mandrah police received information and attempted to intercept the suspects, the escaped prisoner Hamad and his associates allegedly opened fire on the police party. During the ensuing action, police arrested one of Hamad’s associates, identified as Daniyal, and reportedly recovered a Kalashnikov from his possession.

Police teams are conducting searches across the area and carrying out raids at various locations to apprehend Hamad and his remaining associates. Authorities say all available resources are being utilized to locate and arrest the escaped prisoner.

Police further stated that Hamad is a known suspect in several serious criminal cases. Officials have vowed to arrest Hamad and his associates and bring all those responsible before the law.

CPO Hassan Mushtaq Sukhera said that any assistance or patronage of criminal elements will not be tolerated under any circumstances. He directed that those found involved in facilitating the prisoner’s escape be dealt with according to law.

The investigation into the incident remains ongoing, while police teams continue efforts to trace and arrest the escaped prisoner and other suspects.
