Gujar Khan: Tehsildar Post Vacant for Nearly a Month at Tehsil Office

گوجرخان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 12 اگست 2026):تین نائب تحصیلداروں کی نشستیں بھی خالی، صرف ایک نائب تحصیلدار موجود؛ شہری مشکلات اور سرکاری ریونیو میں کمی پر تشویش,تحصیل آفس گوجرخان میں گزشتہ تقریباً ایک ماہ سے تحصیلدار کی تعیناتی نہ ہونے کے باعث رجسٹریوں سمیت اراضی سے متعلق دیگر اہم معاملات شدید متاثر ہونے لگے ہیں، جبکہ تین نائب تحصیلداروں کی نشستیں بھی خالی پڑی ہیں۔ ذرائع کے مطابق اس وقت تحصیل گوجرخان میں صرف ایک نائب تحصیلدار موجود ہے، جس کے باعث عوامی معاملات نمٹانے میں مزید مشکلات پیش آ رہی ہیں۔

اطلاعات کے مطابق تحصیل آفس گوجرخان میں تعینات تحصیلدار کے کورس پر جانے کے بعد ان کی نشست خالی ہوئی، تاہم کئی روز گزرنے کے باوجود اس اہم عہدے پر تاحال کسی نئے تحصیلدار کی تعیناتی عمل میں نہیں لائی جا سکی۔ اسی طرح نائب تحصیلداروں کی تین خالی نشستوں پر بھی تقرریاں نہیں ہو سکیں۔ یہ صورتحال اب تقریباً ایک ماہ سے جاری ہے، جس کے باعث تحصیل آفس آنے والے شہریوں کو شدید مشکلات اور ذہنی کوفت کا سامنا کرنا پڑ رہا ہے۔

تحصیلدار کی عدم موجودگی کا براہِ راست اثر زمینوں کی رجسٹریوں کے معاملات پر بھی پڑ رہا ہے۔ ذرائع کے مطابق بعض شہریوں کی سرکاری فیسیں جمع ہو چکی ہیں اور ان کے کاغذات بھی مکمل ہیں، تاہم متعلقہ کارروائی مکمل نہ ہونے کے باعث رجسٹریاں التوا کا شکار ہیں۔ اس صورتحال کے نتیجے میں نہ صرف شہریوں کے اہم معاملات رکے ہوئے ہیں بلکہ سرکاری خزانے کو ملنے والا ریونیو بھی متاثر ہونے کا خدشہ ہے۔

شہریوں کے مطابق زمینوں کی خرید و فروخت سے متعلق معاملات میں تاخیر کے باعث فریقین کو مالی اور انتظامی مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑ رہا ہے۔ ایسے افراد جنہوں نے جائیداد کی خرید و فروخت کے معاملات طے کر رکھے ہیں، انہیں رجسٹری کے عمل میں تاخیر کے باعث مزید انتظار کرنا پڑ رہا ہے۔ اس کے علاوہ اراضی سے متعلق دیگر معاملات بھی زیرِ التوا ہونے کی اطلاعات ہیں۔

عوامی حلقوں نے اس امر پر تشویش کا اظہار کیا ہے کہ تحصیل آفس میں اہم انتظامی عہدے ایک طویل عرصے سے خالی ہونے کے باوجود ان پر بروقت تعیناتی کیوں نہیں کی جا رہی۔ شہریوں کا کہنا ہے کہ عوام کو فوری اور مؤثر سرکاری خدمات کی فراہمی کے لیے ضروری ہے کہ خالی اسامیوں پر بلا تاخیر افسران تعینات کیے جائیں۔

شہریوں نے حکومت پنجاب اور متعلقہ اعلیٰ حکام سے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ گوجرخان تحصیل آفس کی موجودہ صورتحال کا فوری نوٹس لیا جائے اور تحصیلدار سمیت نائب تحصیلداروں کی خالی نشستوں پر فوری تعیناتیاں عمل میں لائی جائیں، تاکہ رجسٹریوں اور اراضی سے متعلق دیگر معاملات معمول کے مطابق بحال ہو سکیں اور شہریوں کی مشکلات کا خاتمہ کیا جا سکے۔

شہری حلقوں کا کہنا ہے کہ سرکاری دفاتر میں اہم عہدوں کا طویل عرصے تک خالی رہنا عوامی سہولیات کی فراہمی کے حوالے سے تشویش کا باعث ہے۔ ان کے مطابق فوری اقدامات سے نہ صرف عوامی مشکلات کم ہوں گی بلکہ سرکاری ریونیو کی وصولی کا عمل بھی بہتر انداز میں جاری رہ سکے گا۔

The continued absence of a Tehsildar at the Gujar Khan Tehsil Office for nearly a month has reportedly disrupted land registration and other revenue-related matters, causing increasing difficulties for citizens visiting the office. Three posts of Naib Tehsildars are also reportedly lying vacant, leaving only one Naib Tehsildar available to deal with official matters.

According to information available, the Tehsildar previously posted at the Gujar Khan Tehsil Office proceeded on a training course, leaving the important position vacant. However, despite the passage of several days, no replacement has so far been appointed to the post. Similarly, three vacant Naib Tehsildar positions have not been filled.

The situation has now continued for almost a month, reportedly adding to the difficulties faced by citizens who visit the Tehsil Office for land-related and revenue matters. The shortage of officers has also raised concerns about delays in routine administrative work.

One of the major areas affected by the absence of the Tehsildar is the registration of property transactions. Sources said that in some cases, citizens have already paid the required government fees and completed the necessary documentation, but their registration cases remain pending because the Tehsildar is not available to complete the required official process.

The delay is also reportedly affecting property transactions and other land-related matters. Citizens involved in buying and selling property may face financial and administrative difficulties when registration procedures are delayed, particularly where transactions have already been agreed upon and the relevant documentation and fees have been completed.

The situation may also be affecting government revenue, as delays in completing property registrations can postpone the collection and realization of revenue associated with such transactions. Citizens have expressed concern that the prolonged vacancy of key posts is creating unnecessary hurdles for members of the public.

Public representatives and citizens have questioned why appointments to these important vacant positions have not yet been made despite the situation continuing for nearly a month. They said that the concerned authorities should have made immediate arrangements to ensure uninterrupted functioning of the Tehsil Office.

Citizens have appealed to the Government of Punjab and senior revenue authorities to take immediate notice of the situation and appoint a Tehsildar and the required Naib Tehsildars without further delay.

They stressed that filling the vacant posts would help restore the normal functioning of the Tehsil Office, clear pending registration cases, facilitate land-related transactions and reduce the inconvenience being faced by the public.

The citizens further said that prolonged vacancies in key administrative positions not only affect public service delivery but may also raise questions about the timely collection of government revenue. They urged the authorities to take immediate corrective measures in the interest of the public.
