Rawat: A foreign woman has alleged sexual assault and physical abuse

روات (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی، 09 اگست 2026):روات میں ایک غیر ملکی خاتون کو شادی کا جھانسہ دے کر پاکستان لانے، مبینہ طور پر زیادتی اور تشدد کا نشانہ بنانے کے الزام میں ایک شخص کے خلاف تھانہ روات میں مقدمہ درج کر لیا گیا۔

پولیس کو دی گئی درخواست کے مطابق متاثرہ خاتون کی تقریباً دو سال قبل بنکاک میں عامر سہیل نامی شخص سے دوستی ہوئی تھی۔ خاتون کا الزام ہے کہ ملزم نے اسے پاکستان لا کر شادی کرنے کی یقین دہانی کرائی اور اسی وعدے پر وہ پاکستان آئی۔

متاثرہ خاتون کے مطابق تقریباً چار ماہ قبل اسے روات میں ایک فلیٹ میں رکھا گیا، جہاں ملزم نے مبینہ طور پر اسے متعدد مرتبہ جنسی زیادتی کا نشانہ بنایا اور تشدد بھی کیا۔

خاتون نے مزید الزام عائد کیا کہ ملزم فلیٹ سے جاتے ہوئے اس کی رقم بھی اپنے ساتھ لے گیا۔ واقعے کے بعد متاثرہ خاتون نے پولیس سے رجوع کیا، جس پر تھانہ روات میں مقدمہ درج کر لیا گیا۔

پولیس کی جانب سے واقعے کی تحقیقات جاری ہیں اور مقدمے میں عائد الزامات کی قانونی کارروائی کے دوران مزید حقائق سامنے آنے کی توقع ہے۔ تاہم ملزم کی جانب سے الزامات پر کوئی مؤقف سامنے آنے کی صورت میں اسے بھی شامل کیا جانا ضروری ہوگا۔

Police in Rawat have registered a case following allegations by a foreign woman that she was brought to Pakistan on the promise of marriage and was subsequently subjected to repeated sexual assault and physical violence.

According to the complaint submitted to police, the woman said she became acquainted with a man identified as Aamir Sohail in Bangkok approximately two years ago. She alleged that he promised to marry her and persuaded her to come to Pakistan on the basis of that assurance.

The complainant stated that around four months ago she was kept in an apartment in Rawat, where, according to her allegations, the suspect repeatedly sexually assaulted her and subjected her to physical abuse.

The woman further alleged that the suspect took her money with him when he left the apartment.

Following the complaint, police at Rawat Police Station registered a case and initiated an investigation into the allegations. Further details are expected to emerge as investigators examine the circumstances of the incident and record statements from the parties involved.

The allegations have not been established in court, and the suspect is presumed innocent unless proven guilty through due legal process. Any response or statement from the accused would also be relevant to the case.
