Gujar Khan: Low Railway Bridge Barrier in Missa Kaswal Raises Safety Concerns as Residents

موضع آہیر، مسہ کسوال کے رہائشیوں نے ریلوے پل کے نیچے نصب کم اونچائی والے بیرئیر پر شدید تشویش کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ یہ رکاوٹ نہ صرف روزمرہ آمدورفت میں مشکلات پیدا کر رہی ہے بلکہ ہنگامی حالات میں انسانی جانوں کے لیے بھی خطرہ بن سکتی ہے۔

اہلِ علاقہ کے مطابق پل کے نیچے لگایا گیا بیرئیر ایمبولینس، ریسکیو 1122 کی گاڑیوں، فائر بریگیڈ اور دیگر بڑی ہنگامی گاڑیوں کی آمدورفت میں رکاوٹ بن رہا ہے۔ ان کا کہنا ہے کہ کسی بھی طبی ایمرجنسی، آتشزدگی یا کسی حادثے کی صورت میں بروقت رسائی نہ ہونے سے قیمتی وقت ضائع ہو سکتا ہے، جس کے نتیجے میں جانی نقصان کا خدشہ بڑھ جاتا ہے۔

مقامی شہریوں کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ مسئلہ کافی عرصے سے درپیش ہے اور بالخصوص بڑی گاڑیوں کے ڈرائیوروں کو شدید مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑتا ہے۔ انہوں نے زور دیا کہ ہنگامی امدادی اداروں کی گاڑیوں کے لیے راستوں کو ہر صورت کھلا رکھنا ضروری ہے تاکہ حادثات یا طبی ہنگامی صورتحال میں فوری امداد پہنچائی جا سکے۔

اہلِ علاقہ نے پاکستان ریلوے کے اعلیٰ حکام سے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ وہ اس مسئلے کا فوری نوٹس لیں اور عوامی مشکلات کے خاتمے کے لیے عملی اقدامات کریں۔ شہریوں نے تجویز دی ہے کہ یا تو اس بیرئیر کو مکمل طور پر ختم کیا جائے یا اس کی اونچائی میں اضافہ کیا جائے تاکہ ایمبولینس، ریسکیو گاڑیاں اور دیگر بڑی گاڑیاں آسانی سے گزر سکیں۔

رہائشیوں نے خبردار کیا ہے کہ اگر اس رکاوٹ کے باعث کسی ہنگامی صورتحال میں تاخیر ہوئی اور خدانخواستہ کوئی جانی نقصان یا بڑا حادثہ پیش آیا تو اس کی ذمہ داری متعلقہ حکام پر عائد ہوگی، کیونکہ عوام کی جانب سے بارہا اس مسئلے کی نشاندہی کی جا چکی ہے۔

اہلِ علاقہ نے متعلقہ اداروں سے اپیل کی ہے کہ عوامی مفاد اور انسانی جانوں کے تحفظ کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے اس دیرینہ مسئلے کو فوری طور پر حل کیا جائے تاکہ ہنگامی خدمات کی بروقت فراہمی کو یقینی بنایا جا سکے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com | 01 August, 2026):  Residents of Mouza Aheer, Missa Kaswal have expressed serious concern over a height restriction barrier installed beneath the railway bridge, saying it has become a major obstacle for emergency services and poses a significant risk to public safety.

According to local residents, the barrier prevents ambulances, Rescue 1122 vehicles, fire engines, and other large emergency vehicles from passing beneath the bridge without difficulty. They fear that in the event of a medical emergency, fire, or other critical incident, valuable time could be lost, putting lives at unnecessary risk.

Residents say the issue has persisted for a considerable period and has repeatedly caused inconvenience to motorists, particularly operators of larger vehicles. They stressed that ensuring unhindered access for emergency responders should be a priority, as any delay in reaching patients or accident sites could have serious consequences.

The local community has urged senior officials of Pakistan Railways to take immediate notice of the matter. They have called on the authorities either to remove the barrier altogether or raise its height sufficiently to allow ambulances, rescue vehicles, and other heavy vehicles to pass safely beneath the bridge.

Residents further warned that if the existing situation results in any loss of life or a major accident due to delayed emergency response, responsibility would rest with the relevant authorities for failing to address the long-standing issue.

The community has appealed to the concerned departments to resolve the matter without delay, emphasising that public safety and uninterrupted access for emergency services should take precedence in the public interest.
