Kallar Syedan: PML-N Leaders Welcome Party’s Strong Victory in First Phase of AJK Elections

Kallar Syedan (Pothwar.com – Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi | July 29, 2026): Senior leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in Kallar Syedan have welcomed the party’s overwhelming victory in the first phase of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Legislative Assembly elections, describing it as a clear reflection of the Kashmiri people’s confidence in the party.

Among those who issued separate statements were former UC Bishandot Chairman Muhammad Zubair Kayani, PML-N Kallar Syedan City President Haji Akhlaq Hussain, Chaudhry Zain-ul-Abideen Abbas, former City Nazim Sheikh Hassan Riaz, Raja Zafar Mehmood, PML-N Youth Wing Kallar Syedan City President Sheikh Hassan Saraiki, General Secretary Sardar Waseem, Chaudhry Shahid Gujjar, and Subedar Ghulam Rabbani.

The leaders said that the election results demonstrated the trust reposed by the people of Azad Kashmir in PML-N. They noted that when the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) won the Gilgit-Baltistan elections, PML-N accepted the public mandate without making allegations. They added that PPP, despite presenting itself as a major political party, should similarly respect and acknowledge the electoral mandate received by PML-N.

They further stated that the results from the Mirpur Division had reinforced public confidence in PML-N and would pave the way for the party’s success in the remaining phases of the AJK elections. The leaders also extended their heartfelt congratulations to all the successful candidates.
