یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ کی جانب سے برطانیہ میں منعقدہ ایک پروقار کانووکیشن تقریب کے دوران یاسر محمود ہاشمی کو ڈگری تفویض کی گئی۔ اس یادگار موقع پر ان کے والد عابد محمود ہاشمی نے خصوصی طور پر تقریب میں شرکت کی اور اپنے صاحبزادے کی کامیابی پر خوشی کا اظہار کیا۔
