راولپنڈی (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی |15جولائی 2026) —راولپنڈی رنگ روڈ منصوبے کا افتتاح ایک بار پھر غیر یقینی صورتحال کا شکار ہو گیا ہے جبکہ 14 اگست کی مقررہ ڈیڈ لائن بھی خطرے میں پڑ گئی ہے۔ذرائع کے مطابق رنگ روڈ کے مرکزی روٹ کا تعمیراتی کام مکمل ہو چکا ہے تاہم سروس ایریا کے این او سی سے متعلق تنازع نے منصوبے کو ایک نئے مرحلے میں داخل کردیا ہے۔
102کنال 14مرلہ پر مشتمل سروس ایریا کے این او سی کیس کی سماعت لاہور ہائیکورٹ میں 16 جولائی کو ہوگی جس کے باعث افتتاح کا حتمی فیصلہ عدالتی کارروائی سے مشروط ہونے کا امکان ہے۔ رپورٹس کے مطابق رنگ روڈ منصوبے کے لیے اب تک چھ مختلف افتتاحی ڈیڈ لائنز گزر چکی ہیں تاہم منصوبہ تاحال عوام کے لیے کھولا نہیں جا سکا۔سروس ایریا این او سی اسکینڈل کے باعث سابق کمشنر، سابق ڈپٹی کمشنر سمیت پانچ افسران کو پہلے ہی عہدوں سے ہٹایا جا چکا ہے، راولپنڈی کی نئی انتظامیہ اس معاملے میں عدالتی فیصلے اور انکوائری رپورٹ کی منتظر ہے۔ذرائع کے مطابق رنگ روڈ منصوبے میں این او سی منظوری دینے والے مختلف فورمز کے کردار کا بھی جائزہ لیا جا رہا ہے۔
RAWALPINDI (Pothwar.com – Ikram Ul Haq Qureshi | July 15, 2026): The inauguration of the Rawalpindi Ring Road project has once again been thrown into uncertainty, with the previously announced August 14 completion and opening deadline now at risk.
According to sources, construction work on the project’s main route has been completed. However, a dispute over the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the service area has created a fresh hurdle, delaying the project’s launch.
The case concerning the NOC for the 102-kanal and 14-marla service area is scheduled to be heard by the Lahore High Court on July 16. As a result, the final decision regarding the inauguration is expected to depend on the court’s proceedings.
Reports indicate that six separate inauguration deadlines for the Ring Road project have already passed, yet the road has still not been opened to the public.
The service area NOC scandal previously led to the removal of five officials from their positions, including the former Commissioner and former Deputy Commissioner of Rawalpindi. The new district administration is now awaiting both the court’s verdict and the findings of the ongoing inquiry.
Sources further revealed that authorities are also reviewing the role of various forums involved in approving the NOC for the Ring Road project.
